So it would be awesome if someone made Monty Python figures…
Ok I’m kidding. I’m making this thread because I just paid out the ass for my holy grail fig, grand toys (LJN) Bossman with original paint and nightstick. Do you guys have any Holy Grail figs, or at least figs you really would love to have if it were attainable? I still need another Warrior (I sold mine years ago like a fool), Rude, and Haku and then I’m set on the final series, but I can die happy with Bossman.

I'd love some Monty Python figs!! maybe Super7 will release some down the line, it's one of the only properties they haven't touched yet LOL!
for me, it was Andre Hasbro as a kid, I couldn't get it, then found it as a collector and it started my obsession with Hasbros all over again
still missing Dusty MOC though..... and now with Mattel it's Roman so I'd say just those two really

Only thing I can think of is the Nauts exclusive Storm Liger figure. It's pretty entrenched in the $500ish range. I was almost able to get it last year at a little less than $300 but couldnt pull the trigger. And actually hoping to come across one loose one day, which is probably even rarer than the MIB ones lol.

I have it: the Winston Toys Roddy Piper eraser. After that, my picks would be from the same line:
1. Snuka w/one arm down - a copy of the LJN design, I've only ever seen 1 decades ago, it's suspected to be some sort of sample figure/unreleased. The commonly-known version had 2 arms up. 2. JYD pencil topper eraser - I have Hulk and the crazy-rare Sheik (only ever saw 1 other than mine). It's basically the released JYD figure, except cut in half and made to fit onto a pencil. Not exactly a figure, but goes along w/the line and is a copy of its actual figure.

There is really not much left for me:
- Hasbro Mailaway Undertaker - Funskool Undertaker - Hasbro Mailaway Hogan without arm color fading
- WCW Galoob original axe handle for Big Josh - WCW Galoob chain for Lex Luger - WCW Galoob Dustin Rhodes bio card
I sold my LJNs due to their age. I meanwhile regret it, but it is what it is, so no grails for me there anymore.

This isn’t an other brands item, but I’m always on the lookout for the 1/20 Classic Superstars Ultimate Warriors. There’s 3 of them and while I regret not picking them up when I had a chance years ago, the price is what I’m concerned about now since none have came up in years.

My favorite figures were the Hasbro figures from my childhood, so I'd have to go with either the R&B Greg Valentine or the Series 1 Macho Man in the green trunks. Both were never produced for retail, just the prototypes were made.

Hasbro 1-2-3 Kid was mine for almost 30 years, but I finished up my Hasbro set a few years ago (minus mail away Taker and Bret, which I don't care about).
I only had the Warrior Wrestling Buddy as a kid, and would like to finish that set (just need Hogan and Jake now).
I also recently acquired a Vampiro Wrestling Buddy, which is one of the coolest things I've ever owned.

Mail away Hogan. I never really wanted this figure, but then I put together a loose Hasbro collection. Now it's the one of the three mail aways I'm willing to buy, since it's actually different, but struggle with wanting to spend the money. Grail might be an over statement, but certainly one I hope to chase down eventually when the timing works out.
Most of my true grails I've gotten over the years. Carded Kenner ROTJ Boba Fett, carded Kenner Raiders Indiana Jones, Kenner Yak Face, Playmates Dick Tracy the Blank, Mattel Hook Thud Butt and Smee, Kenner Bill & Ted Billy the Kid and Death (still hunting proto Napoleon), Hasbro 123 Kd, Bandai Auto Morphin White Ranger Tommy, TMNT Sewer and Technodrome. I really went on a run for awhile of getting specifically the stuff I saw on the back of boxes or whatever that I always wanted as a kid. Hogan doesn't fit that mold, since he's just an end to a collection, and is really why I don't think I've gotten it yet.

WWF Magazine ad Shawn Michaels punch action Hasbro prototype.
Probably a $35,000-50,000 figure if it surfaced

As far as hasbros, got to be 123 Kid (loose) for me. Really should’ve just payed out the £200 or so 10-15 years back - but who knew how crazy prices would get? (Thank you pandemic and Cardona)
There are a few other hasbros I’m missing (including mailaways), but these are all repaints (other than Adam Bomb) - so I’m not desperate for them.
And then there’s probably a couple of the rarer simba’s that id add to the list too.
So I’d say: Hasbros: 123 Kid Adam Bomb Maybe Black HBK
Simba’s: Pit Hammer Catching Tiger Zambo Zodiac Knockout Joe Punching Paul

At this point, the only grail figures where I wouldn’t just be buying MOC versions of ones I have loose would be mail away Hasbro Hogan, LJN Warrior, and any of the Japanese Popy figures.

Also have to add the mail away Undertaker and the prototype series 7 HBK with the punching action. The mail away Taker is becoming really expensive and hard to find/get. And I don't think that prototype of HBK has every materialized like other Hasbro's.

I'm trying to complete a MOC 1981 Popy set. Down to Inoki, Hansen, Race, and Terry Funk. Seen Terry on eBay but in horrible condition. Those are random 2006-2007 CMLL HAG figures. Crazy I've never seen most of them on eBay ever

Probably that LJN-style Sgt. Slaughter. The one that Hasbro offered as an official G.I. Joe mail-away.
