So one of my favorites growing up was the Texas Tornado, mostly from his really cool Hasbro figure as I was a bit too young for WCCW. It surprised me recently when I realized just how young he was when he died. He's younger then guys like Bret Hart but just 4-5 years older then Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels....So hypothetically speaking, if KVE beat his demons and didnt commit suicide back in '93...Where if at all do you think he could have fit into the monday night war era?
A clean KVE was by far a better worker then a lot of people on both rosters. Even up to his last run in WWF he was super over with the crowd. Would he have been rebranded with a silly gimmick in WWF? Would he have been just one of the "old faces" in WCW? Would he be along side guys like Sting, Luger & the 4 Horsemen battling the nWo? Would he be in the nWo? Or would his star have faded and he gets lost on the indy scene or doing local indy stuff like Greg Valentine or Jerry Lawler?

He would be a nice addition to the IC scene again but knowing Vince he would go down the Hawk path and make an addiction angle in spite.
WCW well a challenger for Hogan would be cool as they could build it first time ever but more likely he's thrown into the veterans bin.Just a helping hand on the roster so to speak

This is a hard one, I was a huge fan of Kerry in the WWF, but he was a shell of his former self (in-ring wise) at that time. Yes, most of it was because of his addictions, but also because of his deformed foot, that hindered him quite a bit during his WWF run. Had he been clean, and didn't have the foot issue, I think it could have worked, but he would have had to update his character a bit. Not much, but a bit. I think he would have fit better in WCW with the other guys from his time period, going back to just Kerry Von Erich. I think he would have been better as one of the guys fighting on WCW's side as a traditionalist rather than joining the NWO - he just didn't fit as a nasty heel. Hogan vs Kerry would have been a marquee match-up. He and Warrior seemed to get along well, maybe he would have been a member of the OWN.
Had he stayed in the WWF, I could see him being the #2 babyface behind Austin. Kerry's character comes off as a good guy, that has respect for other wrestlers and fans, seems like a natural fit to go against Mr. McMahon.

Just imagine on Raw they have an open challenge with say like Trips and all of a sudden you hear this...

Just imagine on Raw they have an open challenge with say like Trips and all of a sudden you hear this... That actually would have been awesome! I think he and HHH could have had one hell of a feud over the WWF title. I think if Kerry would have taken some time off, then come back in the attitude era, it would have made for a better impact than if he stayed in the WWF all that time. Him returning in the late 90s/early 00s would have been a great surprise.

Would have been hard to pull off a classic all American style good guy, but he could have made it work. I was a huge fan of his and he was a wrestler that no one seemed to dislike.
I was going to say that it would be interesting if they turned him heel, but I just could not see him ever being a heel!

At most, he could've been a top face in WCW before being phased out by Hogan and Friends.

I'm guessing he'd have been in WCW, maybe as a Horseman.

He would have ended up with Hennig and the others in the Rap is Crap group.
