All sorts of new RoboCop stuff is being added in the game today. Hmmm Yeah doesn’t mean anything for figures. Last fall they added a Chucky card to the game, didn’t mean anything. If Chucky were available, Mattel would probably pass on releasing a figure of him. If they were going to release him, he probably wouldn't have a figure out by now (assuming WWE worked out some type of merch deal last fall). |

Mattel has established a relationship with the Chucky property. Earlier this month, this $90 Monster High set sold out in 10 minutes. I see no reason why Mattel, Universal & WWE couldn't get a deal done if they want to.   |

I'm surprised that uptight Mattel would touch anything revolving around a killer doll possessed by a serial killer. Another barrier might be the deal with NECA - they might have exclusive rights for Chucky in figure form (assuming that the NECA deal is still active). |

We just had a whole new season in the game and new (or returning) Legends are here:
Mosh
Thrasher
Bubba Ray Dudley
D-Von Dudley
The Sandman
Rick Steiner
Scott Steiner
William Regal
Other still in the game that we have not seen for a while include Jim Neidhart, I.R.S., both Bushwhackers, and Big John Studd.
I mentioned the Steiner's because these would have been in development after the controversy, so that tells me that WWE approves them for the 2K game, so if there is an issue getting these figures, in my opinion this points to Mattel being the decision behind them potentially not coming out.

We just had a whole new season in the game and new (or returning) Legends are here: Mosh Thrasher Bubba Ray Dudley D-Von Dudley The Sandman Rick Steiner Scott Steiner William Regal Other still in the game that we have not seen for a while include Jim Neidhart, I.R.S., both Bushwhackers, and Big John Studd. I mentioned the Steiner's because these would have been in development after the controversy, so that tells me that WWE approves them for the 2K game, so if there is an issue getting these figures, in my opinion this points to Mattel being the decision behind them potentially not coming out. Neidhart is coming in the Coliseum Collection and Big John Studd is being released as a retro. IRS probably signed around the time Bray returned last year. I'd imagine we will see him and BW in the Legends line next year. Although both IRS and BW have one main look so they might not be in a rush to release them over other Legends (that have multiple attires/characters to release over the contract). |

If this is at all indicative of toy deals, Bushwhackers in the Coliseum Collection would be great! Steve had suggested, some time ago, openness to including the “almost LJN’s” in this line.

It is not confirmed, but it certainly seems to be. Also, just noticed that Superstar Billy Graham is back in the game, and it would be great to get another figure of him in the Legends packaging. He may be the one that Steve referenced recently as tying in with Bruno. |

Also Ultimate Warrior, Bill Goldberg and Beth Phoenix were still in the line. I couldn't find Jake the Snake Roberts though. Im starting to think that his contract has slipped through the cracks also, and they are hoping that no one noticed it. He hasn't had a new figure since Coliseum Collection.

If that’s the case, good thing we got his Coliseum Collection figure, which I think is his definitive figure. I just wish we’d get/gotten a Savage in the Coliseum Collection. |

That’s crazy if they have had Luke and Butch under a deal ALL this time and have only released one set of elites and one set of basics. It’s time for an upgrade for them and hopefully a new head sculpt for Butch.

That’s crazy if they have had Luke and Butch under a deal ALL this time and have only released one set of elites and one set of basics. It’s time for an upgrade for them and hopefully a new head sculpt for Butch. Well, maybe not the entire time. They were in at the start, so September 2014. Then we didn't see any cards of them since November of 2021. So a 7 year gap where they may not have been under contract. It does almost feel like there has been a concentrated effort over the last year to sign more Legends back into deals - at least based on the game. That may be something we 'gloss over' here on the figure board. We have seen one off figures from Don Murano, Superstar Billy Graham, etc, and they are off our radar a bit more as we want more FTITL figures. I get it. But getting a second or third figure of some of these are nice too. |

I would like a rerelease of 97 hart foundation neidhart and a thicker torso neidhart representing the original team. I know there is a coliseum collection due out but I want elites or ultimates with the 90s jackets and anvils pink hat and the connector on the back of the glasses. Would like a better reprentative of their mid 80s heel team too. Irs dibiase and jimmy hart in money themed jacket would be a great three pack. Wish they saved white suit dibiase for this but they could make him better with a shiny finish and thicker/taller body type. Bushwackers are much needed again could pose to do the battering ram and/or licking heads pose. Can of sardines as accesssory? |
