What are some things you've questioned - whether decisions you don't understand, mysteries you don't know the answer to or just small things you missed details on?
For me I never understood why some angles were built up but immediately dropped. Happens all the time but I've been watching WWF shows in 1999 and there are several:
- Test supposed to be marrying Stephanie but Triple H abducts her, beats him to it and then Test gets no revenge at all. Whole thing is dropped and he looks like a cuck.
- Ken Shamrock acted like a bodyguard for Vince during the Corporation's feud with the Ministry, protects Stephanie when she's kidnapped, and goes livid when his sister Ryan gets the same treatment from Undertaker. She's taken off tv for weeks, then quietly joins P.M.S and there's no mention of her and Ken again, Ken initially attempts to get his revenge on Vince/Shane when Vince shows he's the orchestrator of the Corporate Ministry, gets Blackman sent onto him but then drops his whole vendetta against the McMahons.

I hope someone can clear this up for me because I really love the build and match itself, but why didn't Shawn end the match between Undertaker and Bret Hart at SummerSlam '97 as a DQ or no contest after he hit Undertaker with the chair? I get from a storytelling standpoint that would be a lame finish (and therefore they should've just done something else), but doing so would have been the most honest thing he could've done and fell right in line with "calling it down the middle" more so than counting a pin-fall for Bret after Undertaker was hit.

If Kane was Bearers son, and he knew Undertaker burned Kane as a child, then why did Paul manage the Undertaker for years? Like all he talks about is how he had to take care of his burnt son and how Kane would watch the Undertaker and wish it was him. Wouldn’t it piss Kane off his dad was helping his brother that ruined his life for the first few years of his career?

It had to do with HBK's stipulation in the match, if he didn't call it down the middle, then he could no longer wrestle in America again either. Had he disqualified Bret after hitting Taker with the chair, Bret could have said that was Shawn's goal all along, make it look like he intentionally hit Taker with the chair to get Bret DQ'd, if that happened, then Bret's stipulation wouldn't stick but Shawn's would.

Yeah, I knew about Shawn's stipulation as well, but calling it a no-contest seems more in line with calling it down the middle (since Shawn was the one that hit Undertaker with the chair). If Bret could claim that, why couldn't/didn't Undertaker call Shawn out for not making it a no-contest? Seems like a smarter thing to do to get his title back then chasing Shawn and trying to become #1 contender again at IYH: Badd Blood. In other words, Shawn didn't call it down the middle, he just counted a pin-fall that happened because of his own action. As much as I love that story and match, it just doesn't really make sense to me that he would do it any other way than no-contest other than it being a lame finish and therefore something they shouldn't have done in the first place.

I think that also plays into Shawn's stipulation. If he called it a no-contest, Bret could still say Shawn did it on purpose, meaning he couldn't wrestle in America again. I guess Taker could have said that Shawn didn't call it right down the middle, but he apparently wanted revenge instead of Shawn not being able to wrestle in the US again. In hindsight, the best thing would have been for the match to be a no-DQ match, this way Shawn's actions of hitting Taker with the chair wouldn't have ended the match (either as a DQ or no-contest), and he would have had to count the three.

Anytime that Razor set up for the Razor's Edge when he was by the ropes. Pretty sure that one had a 0.00% success rate. Even Flair connected from the top rope a handful of times.

A pet peeve of mine is when someone kicks out and they repeatedly go for the cover a few more times afterwards.

There's a lot of storyline gimmicks that are huge leaps on logic, even for pro wrestling:
* Wrestlers making their own matches. Somehow wrestler A shows up in the ring with an issue with wrestler B, he/she can just call out a ref from the back and have a sanctioned match.
* Wrestlers come back from long inactive periods and they're suddenly in the main event because they have an issue with the champ. Wouldn't the entire singles roster have a problem with this? I'm pretty sure that if Evander Holyfield showed up at a Tyson Fury press conference and demanded a fight, there would be a list of active contenders who would take issue with this, not to mention governing bodies.
*A wrestler gets screwed out of a belt by interference from a rival, then he/she seemingly forgets about rematches for the championship and is only concerned with revenge on the rival.
*A wrestler reveals a huge "secret" to a friend/partner in the locker room and ignores the fact that a camera is right next to them.
*A wrestler, usually a heel, is terrified of a large/scary opponent or a rival who is armed with a chair/sledgehammer/chain etc... The terrified wrestler just stands in the ring while their intimidating adversary walks down the aisle, and sometimes circles the ring, before jumping into the ring and attacking.

Why did the enforcers pick Bad News Brown as their partner for Survivor Series after what happened the previous year?
Who thought revealing the Gobbledygooker was going to get over with the crowd?

HBK & HHH reuniting in 2006 always irked me. They had quite literally tried to kill one another from 02 to 04 but now their besties again? 🤣🤣

A pet peeve of mine is when someone kicks out and they repeatedly go for the cover a few more times afterwards. I’m going to try and give a reasoning for this and hope it makes a little bit of sense. In most cases when you pin your opponent, you aren’t just laying over them. You hook the leg and you try and force their shoulders to the mat. You’re using your full weight on them. When you pin them you assume you’ve beaten them down to the point that they don’t have the strength to over power you off of them and kick out. So when someone goes right back into a pin after someone kicked out, I reason it as them hoping their opponent used their last bit of energy to kick out and they won’t have anything left in them to kick out again. I think a lot of times people think of a pin as just laying on someone knocked out for a three count, but in reality it’s making sure their shoulders are down for three. It’s why in podcasts and Broken Skull Session episodes, Austin is always talking about the importance of hooking the leg in a pin.
