I think I have an extra pair of black cloth pants. I plan on adding that to Kama with the vest along with some sunglasses, Hogan cross, and a hat (I think the one from the most recent Sheamus should work) to make Nation Godfather.  Has it been confirmed that he's not coming with cloth pants? I don’t think it’s been said one way or the other, I’m just assuming it won’t. That said, soft goods are rarely shown in renders so he may come with em. |

Yup probably passing on the Kama now. A shame, but it is what it is. Guess it gives me more of a reason to buy the only D-Lo elite for my 98 collection over this one too. What’s the difference in the torso’s? Render showed him in the same singlet they used for his Ultimate Fighting Machine fig. Thicker torso, thin straps, deeper cut on the singlet. The one he’s coming with I believe is the same they used for Retrofest Hacksaw. |

TBH, since we first saw the rider with the vest, and given the way the DX ones were executed, I've had a feeling Godfather was going to be a 2-in-1 attempt since it was announced. Still hoping it goes that way. |

If the vest fitting the figure was the reason they went with that old torso for Kama rather than using the one sculpted specifically for him then I would've scrapped giving him the vest or made it cloth. Makes the figure look rushed now. Sure I'm still happy to get him for NOD, but now I kind of hope they will fixed this or rerelease him with the corrected torso.

Why did they spend the tooling on such a unique torso for Kama to just...not use it? Is the vest actually the reason or is that speculation? It's an unnecessary accessory for this era anyway, I'd rather have that tan steel chair that was always around in the attitude era that never gets made.

Based on this render  I think the reason we're getting the inaccurate torso is because we're getting the Austin-style entrance vest, which wouldn't fit on the Kama torso. Which is absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. Kama basically never wore that during his entrance in the NOD (The Nation - yes, but NOD - never happened). I'd much rather have an accurate torso (and boots too), and lacking extra accessories, than an inaccurate torso just for some pointless add-on.... I agree. They could have painted those straps on too, to save money and not make new molds. |

We still need blue chairs too that are baby blue and not bright blue like the ones released with the New Generation, Mattel Creations. |
