If I had my way in 2023 Elite - September '91 WWF Magazine cover (to match Desert Storm Hogan) - either "green tights" attire (or a 2 in 1 as mentioned in the thread) Ultimate - Royal Rumble 91 poster (brown vest + green tights + black winged eagle)
- Royal Rumble 91 UE upgrade (USA) w/ leather jacket and correct lavender strap winged eagle Just figured I'd post this for you. Someone made a custom of this attire in elite form; it looks good.

Was he also wearing camo gear? I also like the idea of the RR91 match attire getting the Ultimate Edition treatment. Adding the USA leather jacket and lavender winged eagle belt would be great. But if they do this one, then they should also do Savage from that event as well, this time with the correct colors and include his hat, bandana, and jacket too. And I do like the RR91 Poster idea as well, also wouldn't mind Macho and Hogan from that poster too. Mr. Perfect and Bossman would be great as well. I have been calling for these Royal Rumble figures to be made for years. They are just improbable toys that you just never would have expected such a deep cut to be made during the Hasbro figure era. Hogan, Macho King, Warrior and Bossman.

Hogan, Macho King, Warrior and Bossman. Yeah, that Macho King look is a huge want of mine. It reminds me of the card I had growing up; it's pretty much the same attire except for the boots and the sleeves of the jacket. I also wouldn't mind this look as well:

I would rather see Ultimate Warrior in the face paint from the Summerslam 1991 graphic, he wore it in the July 6 Superstars of Wrestling and July 7th Wrestling Challenge promos with Hulk Hogan. Which if im right, Warrior and Hogan would have only appeared on the same shows at TV tapings so Warrior probably wore this attire on the Superstars of Wrestling tapings from June 17th in Sacramento and he probably wore the September 1991 magazine attire from the May 28th Superstars of Wrestling tapings from Tuscon, Arizona. My point is .....the tapings for the ring attire probably exists in WWE headquarters archives if the Mattel team were interested enough to research it.

Would prefer this Ultimate Warrior look. It's from a July 6th promo with Hulk Hogan that was used on the Summerslam graphic: The September 1991 magazine facepaint that Ultimate Warrior used he also wore in a June 16th 1991 promo for his MSG match against The Undertaker. Seeing that the only cards aside from ppv that Warrior and Hogan would have appeared on were the TV tapings it's likely that he wore this facepaint on the May 28th TV tapings from Tuscon, Arizona. As it's a TV taping, im sure that footage exists of this complete look in the WWE headquarters. It's a matter of if the Mattel team are interested to seek it out to bring this look to figure form.

And with the upcoming release of Desert Storm Hogan, I just thought it would be a great opportunity to get a deep cut Warrior attire that went with it

- So yeah, thats the kicker with the magazine cover attire. I wish I could remember that far back if there was a full body shot of the warrior in the magazine or not...I just remember really liking the face paint from that cover from the moment I saw it as a kid. - I think the USA gear would be a seller...i know its personally always been my favorite attire the warrior wore, even though as a Warrior fan, the 91 Rumble was not a happy event lol. Adding the leather jacket would be money, and of course the lavender winged eagle would be accurate vs the blue strap we got with the elite. We could get a new head sculpt with him screaming "NO!" at Sherri during the interview as well... Having Macho Man from the 91 Rumble would also make perfect sense if you were going to remake the Warrior. - I'm glad you added the picture of the poster, because now that you mention it, I'm absolutely down for all those guys as UE or Elite figs. Straight across the front row would be great...Perfect would be cool as would Von Erich. Those attires are all different enough as sort of ring/street attires to make really cool figures If they are going to do the 1991 poster, they should do the 1992 one as well. Savage in a different attire, Sid, Flair, Jake in what looks like a snake-skinned jacket, Piper in the Jean jacket. I want that Hogan!

This would be the closest. But this face paint is from his Wrestlemania VII promos against Macho King and as you see the yellow colours spill over into the red outline. It's almost similar but not exact.

Loved reading through the thread and seeing everyones thought on which attires need to be made for Warrior. It just kinda blows my mind that the original Hasbro Warrior and the one Mattel did as a Retro hasn't been made into an Elite yet.

So I have that September 1991 WWF mag with Warrior and Hogan on the cover. I just went through it and the cover is the only photo from that photo shoot. I KNOW for a fact that I have seen a zoomed out version of that photo and I remember being let down with Warriors attire, meaning he was probably wearing street shorts and not ring trunks (I was never a fan when he wore street clothes because his gear was the best). I can’t find that photo nor can I positively say that he was wearing shorts haha, but if he was then I’d like to see that paired with the desert storm hogan!

Piggybacking on this - I think we got warrior from ss92 but don’t believe it’s ever been made with the duster?

The DM Warrior you’re probably thinking of is the Ultimate Maniacs Warrior with the brick singlet

They probably should have done SSL92 Warrior as the DM so they could have added the duster. Ultimate Maniacs Warrior could have been the regular elite.
