There's no good reason not to do Target pre-orders, imo. They don't charge til they ship, almost always fulfill orders, and it avoids all the hassle of running around chasing a set. My pre-orders for the recent legends wave, Raw set, and GI Joe all were sitting on my doorstep before I ever saw one of them in store and I saved myself a ton of time and gas running around hoping to find them at the perfect day and time when they got put out.
If you find it in store first, it's literally 2 clicks in the Target app to cancel a pre-order.

And I have had no issues finding everything before my preorders ever ship. I do preorder the one figure I want most, but I always end up finding them in store first.

Wish Target would just charge and be done with it. I don’t like their pre order process. what if you use PayPal? I've never tried it but that works on other sites They cancel the order if it hasn’t been filled after certain amount of time.

I'm not sure if it processes differently for Red Card holders. I've never noticed anything on my statements, but haven't looked that closely. We have our RedCard tied directly to debit from our bank.

I check my bank account daily as it’s something I’m kinda OCD about.. Target never charges me unless I purchase something

Target never charges me unless I purchase something It’s not an actual charge. It’s a hold that they do every month either a day before or a day after the day you placed the order. It stays anywhere from 1 day to a week where those funds can’t be touched. It’s never a problem for me as I do have the money in the accounts dog eared for the order. But it’s still annoying especially when the order is delayed past the release date. My biggest issue with Target is when the preorder is delayed then every two weeks they would email me at 2 or 3 in the morning saying I had to approve the delay. Luckily for me with my back injury I wake up almost every hour of the night for the last 20 years. So I check my emails and approve the delays. But normal people who sleep through the night have said their orders were canceled by 4 or 5 am before they were awake. And that did happen to me once I got the delay approval email at 3am and then at 4am I received a cancellation email saying seeing I didn’t get back to them so they canceled it. Why send the emails in the middle of the night?

It still does the holds, but I have less worry than using my other cards.

For those who dislike the holds, you can outright pay with Apple Pay or a gift card and not have to worry about the constant charge holds and drops.

I’d much rather pre-order and wait than to waste gas and time going to Target to MAYBE find what I want, or have to hope I can find someone to buy one for me and then have to pay shipping as well.

I’ll have to check more in detail now But maybe I just don’t ever notice because I’ve got plenty to cover the hold

I’m with PJ in the fact that I hate the monthly holds they put on your card for pre-orders. I have no reason to preorder either because I haven’t had any problem getting any of the ones I want lately.

Is Paul E also a chase? They show pictures of the greenish suit and then he has the gray suit in the package. no he’s not. The head Shriners are chase I was aware that the Headshrinkers are the chase, but if Paul E. also isn't a chase, which figure is being released? The greenish or gray suit (unless it is the lighting in the carded picture making it look gray):

I just realized I accidentally paid with my Klarna card so it’s definitely getting canceled. Damn.
