I was thinking this exactly. If this happened in wcw back then, it would be laughed at for years and brought up to this day as one of the worst things that’s ever happened. I mean, it is wrestling. It’s always been carny, people just have blinders on. If people just don’t take it so seriously, it’s a lot more Enjoyable Honesty. Not everything is a 7 star classic in the Tokyo dome. Oh but I wouldn’t want to see any meltzer bs star match. I could care less about the hour long fake fights. I like gimmicks. The Honky Tonk Man is probably my favorite wrestler. I just don’t get the Wyatt garbage. That hell in a cell match he had a few years back was the worst match I’ve ever seen - wcw level bad. If Vince Russo wrote that, it would be completely slaughtered by the marks. |

That garbage and the brilliance of the ending of the show are light years apart. It's not even about being some New Japan smark. They aren’t meant to be the same though, that’s the whole point. You can have both and enjoy both, I did. I don’t think it’s meant to be taken it so seriously, like the main event was. Was pitch black great? No, but it had wow aspects to it and will make for great figures I’m sure. I think 8-10 year old kids probably thought it was really cool also. But people do equate them, which is the reason why you have so many praising Wyatt as being this creative genius while trying to pass off this messy storyline as art when really it's more akin to the Dungeon of Doom. |

Certain Wyatt looks do translate well for figures. Fiend look was very popular and made great figures, but both Ultimates were under 20.00 on Ringside, and the elite was overproduced in the top picks, elite Summerslam sets. Wyatt has a great mind for the business but his mind game skills are like Jake the Snake. Unfortunately for him the more he gets working some stuff goes a little to far off the build with LA Knight was a great back in the day type where you waited a long time for a pay off match which happened to be a gimmick match. After being Max Dupri this was LA Knights first main roster angle that had any sort of relevance. I though originasl Wyatt Family was great and FireFly funhouse was pretty good.

Out of everything from last night’s overall disappointing Royal Rumble show, the only thing I’d want would be an Elite or Ultimate of Cody, and an Elite of Asuka’s new (technically old) look. I’d just like more Asuka figures in general, personally. Feel her attires are very toyetic.

I'll take a glow in the dark basic ring too. I think that makes the most sense, as a Christmas item this year. Glow in the dark superstar ring with a couple of glow in the dark weapons, and a glow in the dark basic Bray Wyatt (and maybe LA Knight). Similar to ten years ago when they’d do the “Ringside Battle” sets with a ring, figure and a bunch of weapons. |

Uncle Howdy jumping off onto LA Knight with an elbow drop and missing into an explosion while puppets watched was one of the funniest god damn things I've seen in awhile - it was so ridiculous. |
