i have the anikin skywalker/darth vader deluxe fig that i found for $14.99 brand new(was an error price tag by a k mart worker),i have 2 darth vaders with the action thing lol and i have a i think its the 7" vader(cartoon lookin one)and i have the original yoda.

I'm thinking about picking up the Anakin/Vader Kotos... My girlfriend just bought me the theatre release posters and had them framed for my room...which god knows how much that had to cost. They look amazing though. I'll probably pick up the gunship and a few other smaller things and that'll be about it. Anyone else still bummed we don't get anymore movies?  |

It's not over, Gorege is Discussing to redo all the frist Episodes, such as Star Wars A new hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of The Jedi. It would be foolish to let something go that has made so much money. Of Coruse Lucas will keep it a seceret to the very last second but I'm sure we'll see Star Wars a new hope by summer 2007. I'm looking foward to seeing the new Luke Skywalker & new effects. By the way I got Plo Koon today. |

I don't think so, with the way the high-tech stuff is out now Star wars would be amazing. I'd love to see it redone and remised. Even though mark hamel & harson ford wouldn't be in it. I think it would be very good none the less they would find somebody who look's like luke and han. It wouldn't be like Ben Aflect as Luke or nothing. George can pull it off again I know it. |

Never have I heard this as even being thought of. You have absolutely no proof of this and to even state this is pure idiocy. He's quite happy with the series as it is. For the record this is the Star Wars series for the next few years.
TV series between episodes 3 and 4.
Clone Wars series, cartoon form.
Maybe a rerelease of all 6 films in 3d. This has been discussed and they've even done 20 or so minutes of episode 4 in 3d for a show already.

George Lucas was asked if they where redoing the star wars episodes and he said something along the lines of anything is possible on a interview by aol. How do you know ? you have no clue you just want to fight about something. I don't think it's over not with the money this last movie made. none of us know it's all rumor's as is. Go back to your SW forums & other sites because that’s where you heard that. Also you need to credit them for the news. But none of us will know till the DVD's come out and the press releases are made by Lucas himself.
By the way, there IMO I’m sure it's been discussed about redoing them because he said anything is possible. I for 1 probley the only one am wanting it redone new cast and all. 2005 movie graphics & high-tech Digital computers would make Star wars allot better.

By the way, If anyone has aol the night after Rots it said in bold letter's beside George’s picture with Anacin in the interview area " Not over ?" I'm pretty sure I've read some where he did not answer it or did say anything is possible when they asked him. But I don't want to fight about it I just want to enjoy what's left of the ROTS fase.

He was referring to a movie based on the live action series...if the live action series goes over really well. We can go back and forth on this all night, man. The movies won't be remade unless by remade you mean just done again in 3d formatting for a theatre release. The movies are over and Lucas will be tied up for the remainder of his directing career making small independent films just like he's wanted to finish. Why on earth you'd want the originals redone is beyond me. Technical aspects aside, nastalgia still reigns. If Lucas wants to do anything to the original movies he'll just rerelease the films again with slightly more changes. He won't go back and make the films completely over again from scratch. That would be stupid. That would be like..."oh jeez, we've created one of the greatest trilogies ever produced...but essentially...I just want to take the best elements of the originals out (the acting and emotions of the characters) and just completely recast it". Not happening. Now please, post your poorly thrown together rebuttle including broken english and grammatical errors the likes of which could only be rivaled by a intellectually- disabled 4 year old who was the child of a mother who was addicted to heroine and who used to  sheep for money. |

no I said it's a rumor I spoke with my friend to see what was going around. I’m not a new schooled to star wars I've been a fan all my life. But I do think it would be really cool if it happened. I'm sure it would take a while to get use to the new cast but I'm probley the only one who wants to see a updated cast and the way high-tech scene is going it would be amazing. I don't want the story changed at all. I just think it would be allot better film than the 1975 version. Plus this is what was said when the new obi wan papered everyone said it was going to be horrible and it worked out great.
I Believe in Luca's if he wanted to do it he could pull it off.
By the way, I was messing with my Mace Windu figure today. Both his hand's come off by now I'm sure I don't half to give a spoiler warning since the movie is over. It's a awesome figure I recommend for anyone who is passing it up to pick it up.
By the way give it a rest trying to be " cool " and better than me because your not we all are no better than the rest of us. Just because I don't agree with you doe's not mean you half to insult me.

I Finally got my Tuscan Raider today in the mail. he's awesome I'm going to start collecting them and build a army of them along with the women & children. I already have Bantha.
I wish I could find my Jubba the hut I guess I'm going to end up buying another.

I'm not trying to be cool. I'm letting you know that you are completely wrong, that was never a rumor, and to get your hopes up would be incredibly stupid. I'm just not understanding your logic here. You say that they should redo the movie with more "hightech" stuff. No, they shouldn't, it's the "dark ages, the empire" everything has basically gone to hell and that "look" that the film has going on now is exactly how it should look. The computer imagery (or lack there of) in the original trilogy is great for what the story calls for. As for the cast there's really no need to throw new people in to old and established rolls. It's just pure idiocy. I don't know where you heard this "rumor" from but trust me, it hasn't been going "around". I'm a big fan of the prequels...but if George wants "better hightech stuff" he'll just make the necessary changes to the old films and then that'll be it. He's going into preproduction on "Red Tails" which is a war flick and starting the tv series up which will roughly be 100 1 hour episodes. It's plenty. |
