That deal might not be bad for me, the set of 4 figures for 80 bucks. Means I can skip Han in stores while shopping for wave 2, and get him in the wave 3 assortment instead. Means all I really need to do is track down Leia and Boba from wave 2 and I can sleep on the line for a while.
Although, it really would have made more sense to pack in two Stormtroopers instead of Han. Or if there HAD to be a re-release, make it the Sandtrooper from Wave 1. They could have even made the shoulder pad black or white, just to make it a little different.

I think repacking Han is the smart choice. I think he is the one that will be most popular of the first 2 sets. Everyone like/knows Han. And there is a Luke in series 3 already. Bobs Fett and Stormtroopers are cool, but I think Han will be the one in higher demand.

I was at a couple Targets yesterday each store had about 6 each (maybe more of some) of R2, Luke, Leia and Greedo not a single Han or Fett from series 2. So again I think re-releasing Han in Series 3 is a good choice.
Also on a side note anyone finding the new wave with Mara Jade at retail? I heard TRU nut anywhere else?

Is the 1970-1980 rocket firing boba fett with actual missile worth a lot? I heard at least $20k! My buddy has like 7? And gave me two for my birth day! He also has the whole first 12 figures Kenner made for Star Wars moc and unpunched I only have Luke and a few others somewhere

Alright fella's, heres some pictures of Bespin Luke + Stormtrooper in hand. They aren't the best quality, but they are good enough. Found them through Toyark, who found them through an eBay seller. news.toyark.com/2013/12/02/star-wars-black-series-6-inch-stormtrooper-bespin-luke-skywalker-hand-images-109187Stormtrooper looks as good as I thought, but not as shiny as I thought it would be. perhaps thats only the picture quality. Either way, I love it! Bespin Luke's headscan dissapoints me. His eyes are ridiculous and his face is too elongated. Whatever it is about his face, I really just dont like it. I think they nailed his hair and facial sculpture but his eyes just bother me. I can't have him standing with Han Solo having a wonderful convorsation about bantha fodder while Luke is crying! The rest of Luke is awesome though. EDIT: By the way, it appears that both figures have up/down hinged wrists! Luke's wrists both move up/down, and the Stormtroopers appear to as well. What do you guys think? |

If there is a %25 off sale on Star Wars Figures, or BOGO%50, or something like that, I will definitely be getting more than 1 stormtrooper. I love the figure, and the more I look at the pictures, the more I see the glossy shine, which is a really nice touch. I read in the comments section of that link that the eBay seller who provided those pictures gets his figures as factory rejects from the factory. So, perhaps his eyes aren't really that bad on the real figure, and it was just a factory reject with poor paint apps on his eyes. I sure hope thats the case, as I like the figure very much otherwise. Really wish he came with a swappable metal hand though. |

I wonder if it's the angle of the pics that makes Luke's face look so long. That lightsaber looks far longer than it should, and I'm pretty sure it looks that way because of the angle the pic was taken. Maybe that explains the face?

I think it's the hair more than anything that makes Luke look off. The eyes might just be a paint defect (as mentioned above) but we'll see when we get it in person. From the original Wave 1 pics, I thought Luke's head was bad until I had it in hand and realized that it was actually dead-on, so maybe the same will be true for this one. Stormtrooper looks great though, I figured it would.

Nice display. I have an extra Han and series 1 Luke to make Stormtrooper versions. But I am sure the Stormtrooper is the same scuplt as the Sandtrooper so we'll either have to hollow out Han & Luke's heads or shave down the neck stem (ball) of the Trooper.

Target had 4 of each Wave 2 figures yesterday, I picked up Han and Boba Fett. Boba's arm broke straight outta the box, which sucked. Had to snap an ACBA pic before trying to exchange him.  Of course, when I went back, they had no Bobas left. Bummer. Wound up getting Leia off the exchange. |

Bought an extra Han and Luke for when I make them in their stormtrooper outfits. Only needed their heads, so really all of their accessories and bodies are up for sale if anyone wants them
