I've been seeing 3.75" wave 3 figures at Walmart and Walgreens. I didn't know wave 2 was out. I'm not collecting but I would've bought a Mara Jade.

The only 3.75" black figures I ever see are tons of the series 1 Anikin and Biggs.

Well Wave 3 of the 3.75" Black is out in Ohio as of today, so I think it will hit our shelves pretty soon. I really like Commander Neyo and Mace Windu. Darth Plagueis is sick too, but I probably wouldnt buy him. Hope to find it in Canada soon

I know it seems unreasonable to pass up on Darth Sidious's master, but I don't really buy 3.75" figures as much as the normal fan. I try to stick to just the characters/figures that interest me. Since I really like Mace Windu, and find its the best headsculpt they have made of Windu, I'll definitely want to pick him up. I really like the Commander Neyo a lot, even though I don't care too much about his character, so I'll probably pick him up. Darth Plageuis is awesome but Im not interested in him enough to buy him. As for 6", I really like Obi-Wan Kenobi, but I am dissapointed in his figure. I dont like it for whatever reason, and it doesn't help that his arm articulation is hindered by his tunic :\. On another note, I am so excited for SW 6" but am getting fed up with the fact that it is going to take so long for lines to come out. Wave 3 isnt even out yet and there is only really 1 figure I really want from there, Stormtrooper. Wave 4 looks good but it isn't coming out until May. then Wave 5 looks amazing but thats all the way in June! So I guess I will have to focus my interests on 3.75" for now.

Obi Wan is my favorite character, but something is off about the figure, just doesnt resemble Obi Wan for some reason. I too am disappointed at the time it takes to get new figs. I think it is like three months for three new figs, that is just sad. I hoped it would resemble the elite lines, six new figs every two months, but nope, hasbro just cant do that. The distribution of hasbro is horrible. I have only seen wave 1 of black series 3.75 inch, and only wave 1 for the six inch figs to.

I mean its a dream come true. I don't want to seem like a fanboy but the fact is, I have been such a big Star Wars fan for so long but never really cared about their smaller figures (other then when i was a little kid and LOVED those figures!!! I had so many fun battles those years haha). Once I saw Wave 1 of the Black Series, I was so happy to find that they are making 6" Star Wars figs just like mattel does wwe. like it sounds a bit overstated, but it really is a dream come true. and like many people, I thought it was going to be like wwe figs, 6 figs a line, and a line comes out every 1-2 months or so. then I found out that it was 4 figs a wave, each quarter of the year. Now its 3 new figs every 3 months. Thats complete crap! I mean wow thats slow. Tbh, it kinda seems like they put the breaks on the line for 2014 or something. carry forwards and such long waits between wave releases seems too odd. But I guess thats Hasbro? Regardless, I just feel kinda dissapointed is all. I really enjoy this line and have high hopes/praise for it. But now that its going to be so long between 3-4-5, and the fact that theres only going to be 8 new figures in those 3 waves (Wave 3 & 4: 6 new figs, Wave 5: 2 new figs), thats a real bummer. Anyways, I dont want to be a downer at all. I really enjoy this line and hope it prospers!! May the force be with this line.

The only reason I can think of to explain the slow distribution is Episode 7. Maybe they are slowing it down for 2014 then for Episode 7 they will ramp up production. All i know is that I cant wait for the new figures, vehicles, playsets for Episode 7, but I hope the black series wont turn into episode 7 black series, i rather get more new episode 1-6 figs than seven.

Yup, I really want the Black line sticks to ep. 1-6 and doesnt include the new ep.7 stuff. Im sure I will enjoy the ep.7 stuff but I really just want a bunch of OT figs!! and Im a huge Luke fan so bring on as many Lukes as possible.

X-Wing Luke, Dagobah Luke, and Jedi Luke are IMO the most important to get. I just rather get more new figs first, then later down the line start getting different outfit looks. Being a hardcore collector I will grab every black series fig, but to me Bespin Luke was way to early, should have been Jedi Luke in his all black outfit including his endor coat and green saber.

My TRU had 30% of Star Wars. I grabbed my third Sandtrooper. Watch out Rebels, I'm building an army . $13.99 before sales tax.

Yeah, the thing with this line is that since we only get 3 new figs a wave, making multiples of characters doesn't make sence so early on. I love the Jedi Luke, that is my favourite luke of all time and I hope they do a great job on it in 6" form. But I don't care for Bespin luke much and think that they should have either chose a different attire or brought a new character. I prefer to get new figs too, but as a Luke fan I don't mind that they are making multiples of him early as much as others. I don't like the Bespin luke as much as I want to like it, just because its rather boring. I really hope they make a snowtrooper or Tie Pilot before they make a 4th luke though lol. also! I heard about the 30% off Star Wars in TRU... sadly it only applies in US!! Canada's TRUs arent having that sale if so I would definitely buy another sandtrooper.

How cool would it be if they made some 6" rebels... like maybe a commando outfit, or those pilots with the big ass hats.. I should probably know their names but I forget LOL. I mean these guys!! I would love to see a huge battle between Sandtroopers/Stormtroopers and rebels in 6" form!!

Where does one even start to collect Star Wars figures?
I see like half a dozen series on the pegs with different scales and design. I can't tell if the different 3.75 series figures go together or what.
It's a daunting task to try and get into collecting this.

Where does one even start to collect Star Wars figures? I see like half a dozen series on the pegs with different scales and design. I can't tell if the different 3.75 series figures go together or what. It's a daunting task to try and get into collecting this. In all reality, you have to stop and ask yourself a few questions: What movies do you like the most? What figure scale do you like the most? Are you interested in certain characters or are you a completest? How big do you want your collection to be? How much do you want to spend on Star Wars figures? For me, I asked myself those questions and it narrowed down that I would collect the 6" Black Series. I like all 6 movies enough that I would warrant 1 of each character they made in 6" form. I also have three other collections that I have to fund (WWE Mattel being the biggest, Figuarts Power Rangers, which I will only need to spend around another $150 and I will be done, and DCUC Batman every once in awhile when I pick up some random figures to make customs). The 6" line was perfect for me because the figures are released in small enough amounts a year so that I can save up for when they are released. They are highly detailed and really match what I look for in action figures that I collect. I used to collect all of the 3.75" figures, but that was before I got into collecting seriously with WWE and such. Since then, I have hundreds of 3.75" figures in my attic in a tupperware bin, waiting to be sorted through and possibly sold.

I would love a Tantive IV Rebel Trooper! That would look awesome.
I just wish that Hasbro would pump out well known names and lesser known figures all at once. I really liked the idea mentioned before about movie specific waves. Release 6 waves a year and put 3-4 figures per wave, starting with EP I and go to Ep VI. Then, start over the next year until all of the main characters are out.
