While I do own the supreme Cody, Owen Hart, and a couple of the ladies figs I feel the AEW figures are absolute trash. Just don’t like them. I tried to collect them but the more that came out I felt it was a waste of money buying them.

Biggest issue I have is the release announcements. Rather than telling us 3-4 waves every 4 months…why not just announce one wave each month? Keep us a little more interested instead of blowing it all at once. We don’t expect SDCC type of drops all the time but it feels like it is feast or famine.

At retail the line is so dead. They cleared some room at Christmas at the Walmart near my house with the exception of two pegs of only Unmatched 1 Britt Baker and the Walmart Hangman Page. I went in last week and they had a fresh case of AEW......... Unmatched series 1, again. This Walmart has only had Unmatched 1 for over a year with constant restocks because I'll see Darby and Omega who are usually the only ones that sell and then a month passes and there's more. I think they've had 20+ cases of that one wave.

Just finished boxing all of mine up as I don’t want them on shelves in my display anymore.
Just the communication and consistency of the series being released has killed the enjoyment of it for me. Planning on selling them all here soon.

I took my display down months ago. Inconsistent skin tones, scaling issues, figures inexplicably breaking, either joints that are too loose or so tight you can barely move them, constant repeats (I understand the need for anchor talent but how many Moxleys and Jerichos do we really need?), attire choices is a big one for me too.
They made the first Owen Hart figure in over 20 years... in an attire literally no one asked for. I understand you can't make his WWF attires due to IP issues, but I mean come on, I'm sure everyone would've been happier with a plain black or pink singlet or with generic designs rather than 3 versions of the same gear that no one remembers him best wearing. Such a let down.

I’m losing interest in them making the fifth Sting figure with no major difference.
Who knew someone could have the license to Sting and do worse than Mattel?

I bought the bubbly jericho despite it not fitting my collection and have since bought Tazz to put next to Cole.
I had such high hopes of them giving us legends to fill out my collection and it just hasn’t happened.
Jericho from Mexico I was on the fence and passed. Owen Hart I’ve looked for any way to turn into something I want and found nothing. Two figures in how long now? I just don’t care about it.

funny I feel the same way lately. I am not giving up on the line but it seems every series that comes out its not who I have been waiting for personally, too many repeats or weird molds ex Bryan Danielson's head. I hope they continue to get better but I have definitely slowed down with buying or excitement.

I just wish it wasn't so hit or miss playability wise. I can get used to odd stuff or skin tones but when I can't do moves without the torso coming off it makes it so painful to use but it sucks when Omega or the Starks I have, even Archer are 3 of my favorite figures to use but half the others just break as soon as you try and do a move.

Personally I would be more interested if the Legends that were promised in the beginning would start to come to fruition … It’s been what, almost three years now? … Where are they?

My interest in the line has all but evaporated as well, mainly because in my opinion I just don't think the figures are very good compared to other figure lines at the same price point. You have some home runs, but I find that most of them are pretty disappointing.

Just learned the Supreme Malakai Black has the wonky pale skintone so
1. Why should I buy this? 2. That’s unacceptable at $50

Even gone for a full month, still talking. Awesome.
Regardless, can't wait until the showing this weekend. Sounds like it was rather short notice.

I dropped the line. I bought Excalibur and that will be my last figure. I donated all of my packaged AEW figures to Toys for Tots in December. In my opinion the figures are just bad. They don't look like the talent. Eddie Kingston is my favorite wrestler but I had to pass on the figure because it doesn't look like him, that kills me. I really hope AEW does something about this and the toy license ends up at another toy company. I don't watch RAW or Smackdown but buy most WWE Mattel figures. I watch Dynamite and Rampage every week and no longer buy their toys.

That was your go home show? The show that is meant to boost PPV sales? And on top of that, you wasted a ladder match on free television? I even feel MJF is getting stale. Gasp, I know. In turn, my interest in the toys is diminishing. I don't buy merchandise for a product that I'm not fully invested in. Tony Khan needs writers. He needs bookers. He needs to swallow his ego and accept that he cannot possibly do it all, and his notebook fantasy draft BS style of booking just isn't the formula to a long lasting business. Great to start, but now I need substance. How are we 4 years into this and we *still* don't know who most of these characters are: what drives them, their motivations, what their personas are, who they are rather than generic create-a-wrestler *coughActionAndretticough* Maybe if the product was, I dunno, GOOD, I'd be more inclined to hop on the merchandise wagon. As it stands now, I don't even care about the much delayed Fight Forever.

Been reading a few comments here and on other threads about the figures. Mainly ppl don't like the cartoony scans. But I love the cartoony scans because it represents how much of a caricature of a wrestling company AEW has become.

I see the same figures sitting in stores in my area for months. I think that the general public just isn't really interested in the mid-to-lower-card wrestlers at all, and even certain upper card talent that's not really well known outside of AEW. I think they might need to do one line that is targeted for all retailers, including brick-and-mortar, that has figures that will be more recognizable to more people, the ones that actually sell at retail now: Danielson, Omega, Darby, Sting, Moxley, Jericho, Punk (...?), etc.. They can put legends in this assortment, too. They can have a separate online-only assortment with some of the lower card and lesser known talent.
Quality and value are a huge issue too. Mattel makes photos with photorealistic likenesses with fairly consistent quality. If someone is in a store, and comparing AEW figures to Mattel, the Mattel figures look much better, and feel like a better value.
