I still can't believe they went with a new opponent for Lesnar and left the Lashley feud unfinished just before Wrestlemania. It makes zero sense and now its backfired, leaving no credible opponent for Lashley.

This has potential to be the best mania in a very, very long time

I would save Orton/Cody for next years Mania personally, anything before that would rush it imo. Let RK Bro join up and have their fun for couple months, they get their split and they get a great end to this incredible story and Randy can go on his way to end Cody's magical homecoming and dream coming true I think heel Orton and eventually heel KO can be two of Cody’s biggest rivals if they do it right

If Rey is really considering hanging it up he needs to beat Dom at Wrestlemania. He needs to beat him at Backlash. He needs to be in the MITB and have Dom return and screw him out of the match leading to a final SummerSlam match where if Rey loses he has to retire and then finally give Dom the biggest win possible over his father

Imagine Lesnar comes out followed by Omos and then Lashley’s music hits. He obliterates Omos with a spear, grabs the mic, and tells Lesnar they have unfinished business 🤔

I was glad they wen't with al alternate route, as I always prefer fresh Matches for Wrestlemania, but just not the route they went with, especially given there's so many better opponents he's yet to face. Can only imagine after testing the waters with the faceoff between Lesnar and Gunther at the Rumble that he's since signed a new deal, and they're holding off with that one. I wonder if they just booked themselves into a corner with Lesnar and Lashley, knowing that one would have to essentially go over the other clean on the big stage, which would harm one of them. They had three Matches and none of them really had any clean definitive ending.

Manifesting Cena beating Theory, next night having the US open challenge, and Tom Ciampa returning to beat John.

I also prefer fresh matches at Wrestlemania too, or the end of a feud in some sort of gimmick match, which is where I would have expected this to end. Lashley could do with the win. Lesnar doesn't need it but at the same time, hes only won a couple of matches since returning at Summerslam 2021 and has lost a ton of them, so thats why I'm also thinking that the Omos match might be somewhat good for him. Like you said though, they haven't had a proper ending to any of their matches (Lesnar's lame win at Crown Jewel doesn't count) so it puzzles me as to why they'd just switch it up before a blow off match at their biggest PPV.

So it’s Cena vs Theory kicking off night 1 and I’m thinking Gunther vs Sheamus vs Drew kicking off night 2?
That will be great stuff & it’ll make the IC & US Titles feel more important.

I’d prefer Melo to debut and beat Cena I think Melo gonna have a title around his waist after Mania but not that one, cant see Theory taking the L here personally. It would kill about any momentum he's built since Trips took over.

It would kill about any momentum he's built since Trips took over. He’ll have less momentum if he beats Cena on Saturday. He’s not about to main event the next PPV or any of the foreseeable ones in the next couple of months. If he beats Cena, he needs to ride that wave of momentum and if they aren’t going to put him in the next phase which would be going for the world title, then he’s gonna fall flat If he loses to Cena and begins to scratch and claw his way back, it’ll be easier to keep him relevant and build him even higher

Then he could drop it and move up,then he'll have that huge win over John and a great US reign under his belt. After Roman drops them and hopefully Cody splits the titles will open up a lot more opportunities for guys like Theory moving forward.

Roman Reigns should retain next weekend. I’m all for Cody becoming champion, but Roman deserves that 1,000 day reign. He’s been by far the most consistent act in the company since aligning with Heyman.

I didn't think it was a chance in h*ll Cody wasn't walking out without those titles after the Rumble but I'm starting to thinking its not quite as much of a lock lately.

Cody should win. It’s time for a new champion.
