I mean...I don't mind paying an extra few bucks over retail to get the figures a couple months early... but $32 for an elite? $35 for a Johnny Knoxville? $45 for a chase Mr America? Come on... |

Is this the earliest SummerSlam has ever gone up for pre-order? This feels wildly early. The series went up for preorder last year on 4/22 and then I got a shipping notice on 5/24.
Don't forget that for a couple of years, they did the wave in the regular elite series. Last year being the first year that it was a separate wave again is probably the reason for the later date. Plus WWE moved Summerslam up a month now from end of August to end of July (I think last yr was the first yr they did that). Mattel probably wants to make sure that they are in retail stores by June/beg July at the latest.
I'd imagine this will be the normal time frame that RSC gets them in going forward if it continues as a separate nonexclusive line (just like the WM series is in stock around Oct/Nov every year).
At least, I hope it is since the Summerslam hitting a couple months before Survivor Series, Rumble, and Wrestlemania sets all hitting around the same time was brutal on my wallet.

Tbh,I don't care about not getting Dirty Dawgz since its been this long anyways and I really like this Ziggler attire. So I'm just happy that we getting it,would've added some extra points for some entrance gear tho.

Hey Ringside, pertaining to Zeus: Silver wrist tape or no? Received mine yesterday and yes it does have silver wrist tape. On another note the Mr Perfect BAF torso must have a new connector piece with the legs because my older sets of legs from other BAF sets do not fit. I guess I have to buy Ziggler now. |
