Sorry to piggy back off your 1993 thread Jason, but really wanted to do more of these  So what is your top 4 matches from this year of Monday Night Raw? Mine are: Bret Hart & The British Bulldog vs Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart Randy Savage vs Yokozuna Lex Luger vs Diesel Rick Martel, IRS, Jeff Jarrett & Headshrinkers vs Tatanka, 1-2-3 Kid, Sparky Plugg & Smoking Gunns Honorable mentions: Bret Hart vs 123 Kid Luger vs Bigelow Lumberjack Match: Tatanka vs Crush 1-2-3 Kid & Jannetty beat Quebecers to win the title Razor vs Yokozuna |

My picks are
Bret Hart Vs 123 Kid: one of the greatest RAW matches of the new generation era.
Shawn Michaels Vs Razor Ramon: This is such a hidden gem and a match that never gets talked about.
Bret Hart & British Bulldog Vs Owen Hart & The Anvil: Hart Vs Hart in 94 was awesome and this is a super fun tag match. If it wasn't for the HBK & Diesel Vs Razor & Kid match on Action Zone, this would be my favourite tag match of the year.
Randy Savage Vs Yokozuna: I remember seeing this on WWF Mania as we did not get RAW on TV here until the following year. One of the best matches Yokozuna had and you actually thought Savage had a shot at beating him!

A lot of people say that Bret was never THE guy because he was overshadowed by someone else. It seemed like he was someone they always relied on when needed to carry the belt or a main event feud, but were always looking past.
However, 1994 was Bret's year in my book. I know that it was kind of bookended by having the spotlight on Lex and Diesel, but for the bulk of the year he was undisputably on top of the company, carrying the belt and having excellent matches with everybody.
I can list a Mount Rushmore of 1994 matches just featuring Bret and you can make the argument that they are deserving to make anyone's cut.
1.) Bret/Owen - WrestleMania X
- This match is perfect. Nothing more.
2.) Bret/Backlund - Survivors Series
- Not a technical masterpiece or anything, but the storyline drama in this match is off the charts. This one doesn't get enough credit in my opinion for how good it is.
3.) Bret/1-2-3 Kid - Monday Night Raw
- A rare babyface versus babyface match for that era that showcased the experienced veteran going up against the promising rookie. The chemistry between their styles played out beautifully throughout the match.
4.) Bret/Owen - SummerSlam
- Another classic against Owen with the added drama of it being a cage match. All of the near escapes gave this one a different flavor than their WrestleMania match and it was just as entertaining in my opinion.
I could probably keep going for a while...

I don't remember all of the matches from RAW in 1994, but I do remember these being really good:

The greatest match to happen for TV for WWF in 1994 wasn't even on Raw.
WWF Action Zone, October 30th 1994 was the air date I believe.
Shawn Michaels & Diesel defend the WWF Tag Titles against 123 Kid & Razor Ramon!
That's the only match I need for my 1994 list.

Bret/123 Kid- best match on raw in 94 imo Yoko/Mach-Edge of your seat for sure with this one. You really though Mach had a chance to win.Crowd was going nuts! Razor/HBK-Another hidden gem like hbkjason mentioned. Razor/JJ-Despite the DQ finish, this is still a fun TV match. These 2 always had great chemistry |

I agree so much with this!
There are so many shows they went to a certain point on the Network and then said, "that's enough."
The Smoky Mountain Wrestling stuff is just stuff with Jericho on it and that's it. Put the entire 1992 - 1995 episodes up there!

Don't worry though there is plenty of episodes of that god awful WWE Bump show! After all these years there is no excuse for the whole back catalogue not being on there. |
