Do some elite series not hit retailers?

I would just order him off ringside. He’s dropped down to $21.99.. when he first went up for preorder he was $31.99..

I know you still gotta pay shipping but for me it’s worth it just so I don’t have to deal with the hassle of continually checking Target and Wal-Mart. The last series my local Wal-Mart and Target put out was Elite 94. Just terrible.

elite 97 is just starting to hit walmart, they've gotten 95 and 96 too

95 is just starting to hit Target, maybe 96? not sure, i havent see it myself. but Target is too loaded with top talent, legends and ppv figures. and the stores are always an absolute disaster so their ordering is probably all messed up

I can’t remember not seeing at least some of the wave for every set in the past 2 years. Some sets are more available than others tho

98 hasn’t hit retail yet so you have time, 97 is just popping up now

Chinese new year. Also why did elite 87 get ordered so heavily. At least in my area, 3 Walmarts are flooded with Candice Braun asuka Otis

Every Walmart around here has different stock and the resets never help. The shelves sat empty for over a month. Then between the 3 Walmarts in my city, one has a solid case of Top Picks Randy Orton, one got Elite 99, and one got Elite 96.

I haven't seen Elite 95, 97, or 98 at box stores. There's a toy and hobby store the next city over and I just follow their social media and drive over when they stock new stuff. It's only 30 minutes and they carry a ton of each so I can pick the best paint. It's worth it to me.

No offense to online retailers because its not their fault Mattel has dodgy quality control. Nothing sours my mood like the last time I blind bought an elite which was Elite 83 Edge and I get him and he has a blotch of brown paint the length of most of his face running down it and through his beard and eyebrows.

I might be wrong on this - but I always thought that new Elite Series come out every 2 months.

The problem is that many Walmarts allow their shelves to run empty for a month or more at a time.... My theory is that they often get 1 case of an Elite wave and when it's gone - it's gone til the next wave. If I don't visit a Walmart for 3-4-5 days (or even a week) I've likely missed my window to buy this set, if that's when they happened to get it in.

Right now there are no Elites in my area except for 2 Elite 94 Stephanie McMahons at one of the Walmarts...been that way since Christmas. I went to a different Walmart that I don't usually go to (a little farther out) and saw one remaining Elite 96 Kofi Kingston. So I'm thinking we probably won't be seeing Elite 95 at all.

But see - if the shelves sit empty for 1-2 months (which happens often in my area) - when they finally do order more Elites they'll probably get 1 case of whatever the newest wave is. You won't get the waves that were missed.

As noted by others, occasionally they will get a bunch of Elites at once.... which CAN warm shelves (if they are unpopular - or often RELEASED Superstars) .... and cause them to again SKIP a wave because their inventory system thinks they have plenty in stock and they won't order more.

It's a messed up system from what I can tell. And the shelves in my area just end up being empty more often than not.

87 was in the Mania shipper in my area, so that explains that series. I'm guessing 100 will be the shipper set this year?

All 4 of my local Walmarts have had E94 and E96 for months now. Every figure from both of those sets have been plentiful but there has been no sign of E95 at any of them.
