I watch certain backstories or documentaries of people I like or I'll watch an entire feud breakdown with all the matches and promos but I'm not going back to watch every RAW in history, Hogan's rise, Andre's slam or any of those things that were long before me. I get the gist of it all. I've seen the highlights and most of the major matches just not the slow build. Unless again, they are someone I'm interested in enough to do a deep dive. I do go back and watch indy footage and og ROH or TNA clips if I missed someone or enjoy someone's work who I wasn't paying attention to previously. So yes and no.

And you be some one who would critique that era ain’t good enough as this era like people think the attitude era is the best to the golden era

Not really. Wrestling is very much a live/now thing for me. Loses a lot of the magic when you already know what happened. That said, occasionally during lunch I’ll watch some old episodes of Wrestling Challenge and Superstars from around when I first got into it (1991). I think the production quality was very poor in the eighties too - people didn’t even have entrance music, there weren’t enough cameras covering the matches, the personalities/looks were dull etc. Also, a lot of the promos were for live events that were never televised, so while it’s cool to see Jake the Snake and Ultimate Warrior cutting a promo for their match against Honky Toni Man and Rick Rude at the Boston Gardens or whatever, it’s not really a show that you can watch and follow storylines as they play out.

I started watching wrestling in 2000, but my family would buy 90's PPV VHS tapes at Carboot Sales (British Flea Market) I essentially grew up on two eras of wrestling at the same time.

When the WWE Network launched, I watched every WWE, WCW, and ECW pay per view, as well as every Saturday Night's Main Event and Clash Of The Champions, in chronological order. It took me about 3 years. It was fun seeing Wrestlers jump from brand to brand. What I was really interested in seeing was all of the Championship Title Belts throughout history (1983 - present). When I caught up, I canceled my subscription. A few years after that, my Wife subscribed to Peacock.

It’s getting that way for me now to but I like to watch just certain matches

i love watching matches from the 50s till now. i'd like to actually watch a full run of a wrestling show but i think i'd have to find a friend to do it alongside to keep it fresh and moving. other than ecw, i haven't gone back and watched every episode i can in order.

Absolutely. Most of my wrestling fandom lives in the past.

I do. When I was younger, one of my dad's friends gave me a bunch of his old wrestling tapes from 80's NWA and early 90's WCW shows. I've been a huge fan since.

Look, I respect the hell out of the wrestlers from back in the day. They laid the foundation. But I will never understand how fans didn't die of sheer boredom in the 60s and 70s.

Nah. I've tried, but when I go back and watch the "classics" from before my time I tend to be left completely underwhelmed. Wrestling has changed far too much from the stuff I know and love today. I don't want to disrespect the history, it's just not for me.

I started watching in the early 2000s, but have a strong knowledge of storyline and feuds from the golden age of wrestling right through to current times.
I haven't watched every episode of raw or smackdown, but I've probably watched every PPV.
I've tried watching 60s and 70s wrestling but its so different to later stuff I just don't find it entertaining. It's always cool to see guys starting out that later would become huge names, but for the most part I'm happy to leave it in the past.

I rewatch the good times because they make me appreciate what we had.
