There's no red Tom Zenk in the Galoob line. Think there was image of one which would have been in an upcoming series That orange attire wasn't released. |

The white and the red Galoob versions and the Bend Em, as far as I know. There's no red Tom Zenk in the Galoob line. There was one guy on Facebook back when I had an account who did the best Galoob customs I've ever seen. Everyone from Vader to Bulldog, etc. |

Much harder to customise Galoob as well, imo. I spoke to him a couple of times about getting a few figures but he wasn't making them to sell at that point, he said he might in the future but I left the Book of Face a long time ago. |

Galoob and Justoys were interesting because most of the guys had the exact same outfit except for just a few.
Barry and Sid were the same, I think Arn was or maybe the color scheme was reversed.
Pillman was the same
Doom was the exact same for each-the blue sweatpants and sneakers! Steiners would have been the exact same if Galoob did the patterns on the singlets. I'm guessing Justoys used the same reference photos.
Sting, Luger, Flair were different as was Zenk.
As a kid I could never find the Zenk galoob. Not sure if he was short packed because he was probably the least over of all the guys. I finally got loose around mid 90s I guess at a yard sale. But I search all over for him in 91. One store, I think Children's Palace, had a square bin of random clearance toys, kind of like Walmart does the cheap DVDs and there were some galoobs and I kept searching but no Zenk.

I remember kicking myself for decades having passed on a hasbro Ultimate Warrior jumper WITH a molded IC title around the waist that was available at clearence in the local toy shop. I chose the Million Dollar Man instead. Fast forward to the present my chin dropped when I saw the concept art for the first time. I am still of the opinion that my memory is playing fool on me, that I might have read the back and had the rare IC-champion bio variant in hand. The bio might have impressed me so much that my memory must have mixed it up. Still, it feels kind of real. Memories… lol |

LoL You and me both! I was pretty much convinced that I'd seen Zenk as a UK exclusive in the red trunks. For me, though, I'd actually seen it online on eBay, etc, but obviously what I was seeing was a custom made figure and I probably just put two and two together and assumed it was a UK exclusive. Strange, indeed. |
