I'd be surprised if this one doesn't get brought up in the build..
Cody and Roman both had their television debuts at the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, on the same night both of their fathers were inducted. Cody appeared on stage alongside his brother Dustin while Roman was shown in the audience with the Anoa’i family.

The average time for a WrestleMania Main Event pre WM 33 is 21 minutes 28 seconds. The iron man match at WM12 is what throws it off the most. I only found this sheet so idk the maths for the recent years added on. Paul Bearer worked at a morgue before getting into the wrestling industry. Chris Benoit's victory at WM XX was the first time a title was won by submission in the main event at a WM. Seth Rollins was the first wrestler to win a main event at WM where his age was lower than the number of the WM. Sheamus got his butt kicked by Yoshi Tatsu when they were roommates with Ted DiBiase Jr. Terry Funk started wrestling the year The Undertaker was born. Atsushi Onita was so sad and angry about Bruiser Brody's murder that he tried to trick Jose Gonzalez into working for his promotion so he could kill him.
John Cena was in WCW's "Ready to Rumble" film in the background of a scene with Goldberg in the gym. The first time Rob Van Dam was in a WWE ring was with Ted DiBiase as a fan where he kissed his foot. Brock Lesnar & Kurt Angle were the first superstars to main event WM while fighting under their real names. Sting vs Ric Flair was the last match on WCW Nitro, Ric Flair's last match in TNA was also against Sting. Hulk Hogan and Sting have been in the ring together at WrestleMania, Starrcade, and Bound for Glory. Mick Foley was the first guy in WWE history to have a different entrance & exit theme. The ECW world title was once defended by a WCW wrestler against a WWE wrestler on an ECW show. Shawn Michaels gave Daniel Bryan the nickname “the American Dragon” Scott Steiner lost a match in which he was calculated as having a 156 4/3% chance of winning. The Onita plot isn't exactly fact, it's in the rumor world. The way the story goes, he wasn't planning to kill Gonzalez, he was setting him up to be killed by the Yakuza. He went to Puerto Rico, and while there took pictures to make it look like he was assaulted and and stabbed by Gonzalez. Apparently Gonzalez had not prior knowledge to Onita doing this. I've heard either Gonzalez felt he wouldn't be safe in Japan, or he couldn't legally enter the country to the match never happened. Many people I've heard talk about Onita's plot, don't seem to think he was trying to set Gonzalez to be killed though. They just see it as Onita being the carnie, and setting up a match, where he would go over Gonzalez to 'avenge,' Brody. Even if Onita had the goal simply to make money off of the Brody tragedy, I'm willing to be Gonzalez likely wouldn't have left the country alive, as Yakuza members were known to be big wrestling fans, and they also made money off of wrestling, so what happened to Brody would have likely made a lot of them not at all happy.

Yeah, I don't think there has ever been any real confirmation either way if Onita's plan was setting Gonzalez up to be killed, or simply trying to make money off of the whole murder.

If John Cena wins the United States Championship at WrestleMania, he will also tie Ric Flair’s record of US Title wins.

Lesnar & Foley have never crossed paths ever… shocking they never had a promo/segment or any kind of interaction together.

I saw a meme saying that and I was trying to falsify as much as possible since I had posted mistakes previously. I can’t imagine if the match would have been amazing or a styles clash, because it’s such an unfamiliar pairing. Like how The Rock never faced Shawn Michaels, which many people would expect to be a classic, but there’s possibly factors that haven’t been accounted that would have made the match anti climatic

Cool thread idea! A lot of people, especially younger fans, believe Andre was first lifted at Wrestlemania 3, however he had been lifted previously by other wrestlers, and scoop slammed by Hogan in either Japan or one of the smaller territories. Also bodyslammed by Hogan in the WWF during their match at Shea Stadium in 1980.

Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco weren't the first to have a Hardcore Evening Gown Match. The first was with Al Snow and Droz back in July 12th 1999

The Great American Bash was a WCW PPV but in 2006 The Main Event featured all WCW talent.
Booker T Vs Rey Mysterio, Chavo interfered, the ref was Nick Patrick and it was for The Big Gold Belt, the former WCW World title.

In all seriousness, less than 10 people pinned Andre between 1972 and 1987, which is amazing considering he worked every major territory during that period.

Hogan was a legit 6'10 before the injuries. Goldberg hurt everyone he worked with. Ric Flair never won a match with the Figure 4. Dolph Ziggler hasn't won a match since cashing in Money in the Bank in 2013. WCW paid The Westminster Dog Show to go long so RAW would be pre-empted. Rick Steiner was even slated to appear as a contestant one year as the dog-faced gremlin but was pulled because of safety concerns due to the show taking place in mating season. Ric Flair once sent Halle Berry to Space Mountain. Vince & Linda have been seperated since 2006. Goldust & Hornswoggle were once booked to become tag team champions. Virgil, Lanny Poffo, Robert Fuller, Andre the Giant, 2 Cold Scorpio, Robert Gibson & Tatanka are said to have had some of the biggest Johnsons in the history of the business. Michael Hayes used to date Rosa Mendes. Vince McMahon didn't known Asian porn existed until he was told by JR. Chris Benoit's former tag team partner whom the Rapid Wolverine previously held tag titles with, passed away the same day Chris did. It was thought by fans at the time including on this very forum that this was the reason Benoit missed the Night of Champions show. Before the truth came out. Flair won many matches with the figure four leglock … maybe not big caliber matches but he made many a jobber submit to it in the 80s … any submission is still a submission

Andre the Giant’s fingers were so big you could slide a boiled egg through one of his rings
The Rock & Roll Express were inducted into the WWE hall of fame but never wrestled there … it was the WWF when they made appearances in the 90s
Sting was originally supposed to be “the third man” at Bash at the Beach 96 but turned it down

2002 had the most WWE Champions in history... Jericho, HHH, Hogan, Taker,Rock, Lesnar, Big Show, Angle. I seen a few memes about this the other day.
There ain’t been as many Title changes since, now that is a crazy lineup of legends!
