Since I'm a bit out of the loop, does this sort of work like a Kickstarter? Like, if you just want the WCW stage (if that's indeed what the bulk of it is) then you just donate whatever amount only comes with the stage? And if you want all the bells and whistles, you'd need to naturally donate more to get whatever figures or accessories come with that specific tier?

Kinda hoping the ultimates are of not new people like Steiner so I won’t need em lol. If so. I’ll buy the figs second hand Yeah I'm really hoping the Steiners isnt involved in this lol,they would be about the only ones that would make me really want this enough to pay the price it's probably gonna be. |

But like a Kickstarter, if under a certain number back the project, you won't be charged. The base project will be revealed next week - probably a stage and an Ultimate figure and a target goal announced. Let's say 8,000 units. There most likely will be an early bird figure that anybody who backs before X date gets if the item reaches 8,000 sales by that date. That encourages people to back a project earlier and have a chance of hitting stretch goals. There will probably be 2-3 tiers of additional items that can be unlocked tied to higher sales numbers. Probably a mix of figures and added accessories. Unlike a Kickstarter, if it hits that number, everybody gets it. So let's say at 10k you get an extra figure, 12k there are some added stage pieces, and 15k another figure. You're paying the same price regardless. But what you get (or if anything at all gets produced) depends on how many people back the project. |

The frame and ring posts of the new generation ring are blue. They are black on Raw is War. The frame being black means you can’t just swap out posts cuz the bottom corners will still be blue. Isn't the Raw ring the same thing as the new real scale ring but just with different ring skirts and ropes? All they have to do is just release new aprons and ropes for the ring that was made during the last crowdfund. They don't need to do a whole ring But if they’re doing a Nitro and Raw entrance stage, I rather have a ring for both so I can display both instead of having to swap in and out aprons and what not. That’s just pointless to do unless you play with figures or I guess take pictures or whatever the case may be. So just buy two of them |

Premium releases are pretty much the norm for any line with a significant brand. I get that they're pricey and aren't for everybody. But the entrance stage, scale Galactus and sentinels? They were literally wish list items as a kid. It's incredible to see them made at this scale and quality. I don't totally get the price outrage considering what we pay to pre-order a handful of figures. |

like, my Ultimate collection is small. a DDP in jeans really doesnt seem like its ultimate worthy. Diesel was already plain enough.
and other names like Bischoff? we really don't need to be going down the road of every figure being ultimate.
ive got like 900 elites, and still going strong. i'd rather add to that than get random WCW ultimate edition figures just because its a better word to put on the box
