I still believe it will be that Raw is War stage to pair with the ring (for buyers who purchased) and will come with 3 ultimates out of the gate. Second tier unlocks a 4th ultimate and 5th potentially an alternate ring apron.
Possibly an early bird backing period with something like a ring announcer lawler or brown suit Vince.
Looking forward to seeing nonetheless

Hell in the cell set but who could they release with it ?

Unless it’s golden age I’m definitely out. I’m sure that whatever it is will be awesome, but I have to move soon and am unloading everything post golden age. I bought the Jake/Rude set, and I’ll get Ultimate Andre, but AE/Nitro Era stuff is out. Unless it’s Ultimate Hulk Still Rules or Mr. America 91 WWF is now my cut-off. It might be something that I covet, but I can’t imagine it’ll be anything in my range unless it’s a blue cage with Piper’s Pit set, Barber Shop set, Body Shop set, AND Funeral Parlor set with Ultimate Beefcake, Piper, Jesse, and Paul Bearer. I’d say that’s almost definitely not going to be anything like that. I’m guessing Raw, Smackdown, or Nitro stage with crazy lights, maybe even music or voice recordings. I would love for it to be that with these six ultimate edition figures:   That sounds great for some people, but it really doesn’t make sense. Not only are there multiple UE Shawns (making tier 1 relatively unattractive), but unless I’m mis-remembering I’m pretty sure he was never on Smackdown. Didn't he ref the match between the Rock and Triple H on Smackdown? The one where HBK superkicked the Rock and turned heel. Yes, the very 1st Smackdown! On upn 9! |

It is SUCH a bad idea to go more expensive. They should be aiming for $200-300 max.
Another entrance stage is also a really bad idea. It’s not necessary to do two in a row.
Do something a bit more innovative. A HIAC or a funeral parlour/pipers pit or something would be way more interesting.

I want the deluxe talk show set with Pipers Pit, Brother Love Show, Barber Shop, and Funeral Parlor. Black leather jacket Shawn for Barber Shop, short haired Piper, maybe another Bearer. Would love to unlock the custom Warrior casket or a wooden casket for Taker to emerge from. Guard rail and handcuffs? Suited martel if they signed him again?

If I could choose, I’d pick a classic blue cage and give us a few sets of figs to go with it that span different eras

HHH vs Mankind
Stretch goals:
Steiners vs Money Inc
Hogan vs Bundy
People want figs they wouldn’t otherwise get, and a cage would be a nice add-on for people who bought the original ring or the RAW ring

I could see The Steiners being involved to get the first time in the line demand to help boost support.
Maybe the Nitro stage with babyface Steiner Brothers, another tier with the Outsiders and final tier nWo Bischoff.
All ultimates of course.

It’s not gonna get funded so there’s no reason to get excited. Mattel has all but made it clear that they hate ppl selling on the bay for more money than what the item cost so to stop that from happening they will just rerelease any figure that has value. Nobody is buying 10 of these like they did the new gen arena. I guarantee you if the UE Doink starts selling for $200 he will be rereleased in the soon to be created “Best Of Ultimate Edition “ line. Exactly.. its what Mattel does now. The ring was re-used and packaged w/ kane..and the figures will just get released alittle different later down the line. the people/fans are paying for the molds, so they can be used again at a later time. |
