I didn't even know that the website was alive and going in 1993!! Impressive, Wrestlemania IX looks different to me in that picture than it does on video too.

Especially considering the internet wasn't even evented yet... it was actually invented 10 years prior to that. Not for the majority of the people. I believe there were modems you could connect, but the majority of people didn't get the internet until 1995. |

I remember using AOL chat rooms in like 1995. If only I had known there was also a website selling Jakks out there! Could've saved me a trip to TRU!

Didn't think online shops were even a thing until the early 00's.
My parents first ever computer was a Windows 95 and let me tell you it took at least 5 minutes to get from google to a website.
Couldn't imagine trying to do online shopping on one of those things.

Someone should top this thread in 2033 when WMXIX does turn 30. It'll be here before you know it. 2013 doesn't feel like that long ago, but it was a decade ago.
