The only downside of Bryan/MJF iron man is that there won't be a single match in MJF's title reign that will be as amazing as that. Best AEW main event by a mile.

Amazing PPV. I didn't know how Texas Death would top previous bloody AEW encounters, but it did. Also loved the Iron Man match. Reminded me of '06 Shelton Benjamin when Max clocked Danielson with the oxygen tank.
It looks like Cole will be MJF's next feud. Seems like, other than Starks, he's going in the same order Adam Page went. Danielson, Cole...
...so will MJF's All Out 2023 feud be CM Punk? One year removed from the rant?
We shall see.

I have been watching AEW for a little while now, I started when Punk and Bryan showed up, but this was the first PPV I paid for and it was awesome!
For me, going forward I would love to see a long program between Starks and MJF. I think that Starks can hang with MJF on the mic and I think that the bit of interaction we got with them a few weeks back was a lot of fun.

Gonna be honest, outside of Hangman v Mox, this PPV kinda fell flat for me.

Only got to watch yesterday was on the road while it was live. Stayed spoiler free.
Holy hell what a show. I think that might be the best all around ppv I've ever seen. Every match felt different, and every match delivered more than what I expected it to. (My expectations for wardlow/joe were reallllly low so even though that was the worst match on the card for me I still got into it near the end).

Personally I thought the MFJ/kid thing was better then talking about dead dads and running down the local sports teams thing to get heatπ€·

Personally I thought the MFJ/kid thing was better then talking about dead dads and running down the local sports teams thing to get heatπ€· Did I love the spot? YES! Knowing that that's tequila and not water, do I wish MJF didn't do it in hindsight? YES! I don't know why people are getting so worked up by it.

I really do not care about the discourse around the MJF thrown drink spot. The kid the center of an infamous moment that wrestling fans will rewatch for decades. Put him in the hall right next to the crying Macho Man kid. That kid is going to have a fantastic story to tell the rest of his life. He's going to get special treatment tonight in Sacramento during Dynamite. He's going to meet all of his favorite wrestlers and get free merch. He's going to be alright. And MJF's position on it all -- no one would still be talking about it if it was a clearly planted mother and son. MJF runs back into the ring while the entire building of people are disgusted at what they just saw. Everyone watching at home growned. Twitter blew up. The woman had a look on her face like she couldn't believe it. He thought it would come off better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. He was right.

Let's be honest, if MJF didn't pour tequila on a kid, then the miserable wrestling fans would just look for the next thing to Karen about.

Canβt even fathom how much tequila would cost at a wrestling PPV. Why would you hand it over in the first place? I donβt even drink. Just seems reckless.

Beers in Toronto were legit 20 bucks a piece. Just animal crackers how much of a scam that is. And I live in a province with some of the highest booze prices around.

It was a ing stupid spot. Simple. It got people talking and the dirtsheets reporting. I call it a success.

Rewatched the show. That iron man was legit. Itβs a toss up between that and hanger/mox for me on match of the night
