Love these displays - you have an incredible collection. I really love how colorful and toyetic these figures.
One question and one nitpick lol:
1) Is that a custom Barbarian with Warlord?
2) Would you consider Ken Shamrock to be a New Generation talent? While he debuted in 1997, I'd personally consider him to be more strongly associated with the Attitude Era.

While he debuted in 1997, I'd personally consider him to be more strongly associated with the Attitude Era. 1. Barbarian is Jakks and I just added gear from Mattel's Warlord. He fits in pretty well scale wise. If we don't get a Barbarian from Mattel soon, then I'll probably buy some materials to add to the gear. Barbarian, Fuji, Luna, Moolah, Sherri are all Jakks that I bought after I started collecting Mattel. I really don't have customs except for a NWO Elizabeth (e94 Steph body, E77 head, X-Pac NWO shirt from Fan Takeover) and WCW Madusa (e94 Steph body, Flashback Alundra head/belt, Legends Chyna vest). 2. I thought the nitpick was going to be about 2015 Dudley's with my AE shelf, lol. Personally, I consider Shamrock more attitude era. Some people consider the start of the attitude era with the Austin 3:16 promo, some consider it November 97 (screwjob/scratch logo), December when it was referred to on air, and I've seen some people consider it when Austin beat Shawn at WM. Shamrock made his debut before all of those (except for the Austin 3:16 promo). Plus, I have the other two Shamrocks (blue is next to Bossman in the AE era shelf) so I don't mind him being there even if he looks a little out of place. The end/beginning of new eras is always a little murky. |

Great collections! Which Hall and Nash are those? Thanks, they are from the Hall of Fame 4 pack (with Larry/Eddie). I didn't like that they released Hall with the B&W NWO shirt and Nash with the red NWO shirt. When Nash was released in the Legends line with the Outsiders shirt, I picked up two so I could throw the shirt on both of them. Went from being two figures that I didn't really care about to two of my favorites. |
