I am more than happy with the Akeem we already got in the Legends line so I don’t need another. If he’s been resigned then maybe they release that leaked OMG proto that was floating around the internet for a while a few years back. A lot of people, including myself, didn't collect Mattel back then, so I do hope he gets another release. Ok. I didn’t say I hope they don’t make another. I was just stating to me his Legends Series 5 figure was perfect and I didn’t need another. I am someone who has said numerous times in the past that if it wasn’t a SDCC Exclusive I think they should rerelease it for those who had missed it. And the only reason I don’t think they should rerelease SDCC Exclusive is because those are supposed to be incentives for those who attend the cons. So people have been known to go to cons just for the exclusives. So I think that would be unfair for those who attended the cons to rerelease the same figure. |

he was in that concussion lawsuit against WWE wasn’t he? if he’s somehow back signed that can only mean better hope for others that were part of it such as Demolition

Orndorff and Mabel/Viscera were in the suit and I think the first to have figures since. Warlord was also included, as was Matt Osborne, though they may be using someone else's likeness for Doink. I don't think wrestlers from the lawsuit are blackballed. They just either aren't willing to sign for WWE's terms or WWE isn't interested. As for the WM reveal, Mr Fuji is the first person that comes to mind for me. He's been one of Steve's top wants for a long time and I feel like he'll end up under a deal sooner or later. |

Nothing unless they are neon colored cowboy hats.  I think the Legends Series 5 Akeem figure is near perfect and don’t think they can surpass it. Double jointed elbows isn’t enough of a reason for me to buy another when the L5 is so good. |

Desperately want an Akeem so I really hope they could do another if OMG was a thing.
I suspect Steve was probably referring to a project more than a singular signing but if it was, he seems to have mentioned how difficult getting Giant Gonzalez has been, would be awesome he had a breakthrough.

I don't need a Akeem but I would love to have a OMG but I rather have him in the legends line personally. I would hate for them to throw him in with somebody I don't care about in the CC line but if it is Bam Bam/OMG that would be a instant buy.

If they had a problem making Cheif Kay Strongbow, they might not consider Akeem in the same way lol
