Murderers & rapists don't deserve figs. I'd never say never on the obscure names like CorVon. We got the Goon 🤣 To address this "PC" stuff: another perspective is that we respect cultures and views that we wouldn't have a decade ago. Western culture idolized straight, white, protestant, male views but now we are (slowly, with extreme pushback) accepting to others. I'll bet near 100% those that get upset about this type of stuff are white dudes that see their grip on the world slipping away. Try taking a step back and seeing it through the eyes of some of the other 8 billion people on earth rather than your own narrow view? Agreed. Well written.

I dont think we will ever see a Mattel figure of Sable because all of her JAKKS figures looked like blow up dolls, she is married to an insanely rich man in Brock Lesnar and would probably scoff at the pennies offered to her from a Legends contract, and I could be assuming here, but I think she has stated that she doesnt like the idea of WWE making any more money off of her name/likeness than they already have.
I would LOVE to be proven wrong.

Hopefully Zombie or another company can fill in some of these gaps.

Gotta agree that I don't think there are going to be many on the no go list. Likely Benoit, Snuka, and Strongbow. Possibly Nancy Benoit, and there is probably a subset of that list where people would wait for the heat to die down before releasing, say, another Vince McMahon.
There are a number of people that I doubt would get another figure due to obscurity.. but I also agree that you can never say never. I don't expect to see another Mattel Mason Ryan or Michael Tarver... but really anything is possible.

I don’t think we’re ever getting a Vince McMahon figure again, I don’t see Mattel touching him with all the current allegations and lawsuits. 1997 commentary Vince in his Raw is War jacket will always be something people would want

Feel like there won’t even be a Marc Mero/Johnny B. Badd, but stranger things have happened. People have wanted to cancel Hogan, cancel Vince. They’ll still get figures. Hogan was an isolated instance with his racist tirade, Vince has like a dozen allegations against him and multiple lawsuits/federal investigation

In the red/black bomber/varsity jacket. Even better if he can double as heel Mr. McMahon under the jacket.

Owen, Snuka, Benoit.
Those are your three guarantees from Mattel as far as people not getting another wrestling figure. Owen is still getting figures in Jazwares though and will likely continue to do so.
On the list of "Almost certainly not happening", I doubt we'll ever get another Moolah or Sunny. And Strongbow is an obvious one for "Snowball's chance in hell" but that's for an entirely different reason.
Vince McMahon, however, isn't on this list and frankly, I see them as just waiting for the scandals to calm down then giving him another go at it. He's like Hogan, he's too important to the company to blacklist for good.

Hasn’t Vince only got 2 Mattel’s anyway?
The black sweatshirt (was it a network spotlight) and young commentary vince?
Don’t think he’d be top of the list anyway. Jakks did loads but he was more active on tv etc then

If I'm being honest, I think Benoit is the only guy guaranteed to never get a figure, maybe Snuka for a similar circumstance.
Everyone else though I'd imagine is fair game. So many "It'll never happen" figs have come out like Scott Hall, Chyna, Hogan after his brief cancellation, Owen Hart in AEW (Not WWE/Mattel but it's something) at this point short of a PC police scenario or a rights limbo, sky's the limit.

I think the only hard no is Benoit. Beyond that, anything is possible - in either direction - given changing attitudes in society, WWE ownership, and Mattel's corporate policies.
As for wrestlers who have died by suicide, I believe that's something Bill either stated outright or heavily implied on a couple of occasions. I remember one being after Brian Christopher died, and I think the other may have been when someone asked about Crash Holly. Bill also said that we'd never get Razor Ramon, Luger, or Chyna. It's a corporation - bosses change and policies change with them. But there have definitely been restrictions over the years over the years.

It's a corporation - bosses change and policies change with them. But there have definitely been restrictions over the years over the years. I don’t want to get too deep on here, it’s a toy forum after all and should be fun But in recent years, especially the last 5 years but even more so in the last 3 attitudes have changed in society as a whole. There’s less of a taboo and more understanding about mental illness and the S word naturally comes into that. Then what can be seen as more casual attitudes to stereotypes etc have gotten a lot more scrutiny. I mean look back on the build up to hogan v yoko and KOTR 93 and it makes you wince at times. I know that’s now 30 years ago but it was 50 years after Pearl harbour yet that got referenced in promos…not even considering yoko was Polynesian! In wrestling historically in the states it was simple - whoever was “the enemy” in the real world was the big mean foreign heel - be it Germans, Russians, Japanese or the stuff referencing the gulf wars. While you never say never I think it’d unlikely we will see some of those stereotypes again in figure form unless they are dumbed down like recent examples or unless the “culture war” settles down. Now enough about politics and social causes, let’s talk plastic men in trunks who pretend fight 🙂

I just hope we get a couple more Yokozuna figures before the same people who halted Strongbow figure out Yokozuna wasn't really Japanese.

Tyson Tomko he's like behind bars for bank robbery. Tomko is very much not in jail lol. He was arrested over a decade ago for robbing a pharmacy because he was an opiate addict, but is currently happily married and posting on Instagram. IIRC he owns a gym and juice bar in Florida. People enjoy just making stuff up, surprising Google is just a step away to confirm information.
