For me while Jacks put out some cool ones like Hell In A Cell, Money In The Bank and Elimination Chamber mine has to be one of the first Mattel made being the one you could slam opponents through the mat, I had a lot of fun with it in 2010-2012 slamming people through it back in the day and thought it was amazing.

Just a ring design - Mattel’s Elite Scale Ring was designed way better than Jakks ring.
But as a whole package it would be Jakks KMart exclusive CS WrestleMania ring with Piper, Hogan & blue cage.

I liked the wicked cool scale ring I think it was. Two separate black bases you clipped together underneath, cloth skirts and canvas, fabric turnbuckles etc. great for play and display.
I detest the mattel spring rings - they’re crazy loud even when the kids are not overdoing it, then there’s the one which cracks in the middle which reduces play as you constantly go through. I’d like a non-gimmick type ring.
With that said I think the next ring I’ll pick up for him will be the nXt war games set. For £74.99 you get 2 rings, a cage to go round both or can be a single ring cage, 2 ladders, table, chair and basic Pete Dunn so brilliant value. It’s smyths exclusive, not sure if it’s exclusive to them in uk and available in the states but it’s a fantastic set for the price
I also really liked the retro set with warrior and rude and big blue cage, that was a nice set.
I’d really like a MITB ring set, I’ve had the ones with the triangle pylons but I just don’t think they’ve nailed the concept well enough for play. I don’t know how they could do it better but for me the pylons isn’t it.

Probably either of the HOF rings. The classic blue cage or the WCW one with Dusty.

I had the jakks old school scale ring with the blue cage growing up and still waiting to get one of Mattel’s here soon I love seein the Mattel ones being out together, I like the wood slats they include now and the way you secure the mat to the foundation Waiting for a style I really like to come out - an RA style one from my childhood would be awesome but it’s really whatever one really catches my eye as well

Probably either of the HOF rings. The classic blue cage or the WCW one with Dusty. I kept passing the wcw one thinking I’d get it sometime then one day it wasn’t available anymore. Gutted.

Honestly the AEW basic ring is almost perfect, maybe a little bigger would be great
I would love a WWE mid sized ring, maybe 50 bucks with plastic everywhere but cloth skirts

I think I got a deal on it. Was on sale, possibly a circle deal that stacked on it. Mainly just wanted Dusty so ended up giving the ring to my son.

I've owned pretty much every kind of ring you can imagine with the exception of a few as they were before my time (Hasbro, Galoob, OSFTM, Remco) but the New Generation ring beats them all. I've been collecting for around 20 years and nothing I've owned is as good as that.
That said, when I was a kid the WWF Attitude Ring was my favourite. Bigger than your average spring ring, came with a steel cage and you could lift the base up and use it as a carry case. Loved that thing when I was young!

That’s why I kept my new gen ring and sold the raw one even tho I like attitude era better. Small touch but I’d say I like jakks better due to metal ring posts

Haven’t opened it yet, but I’ve got a feeling it’s gonna be the new Ultimate RAW is WAR ring from Mattel.

The one that was a carrying case. Attitude Era. The rest are too big or do that stupid spring thing.

I’ve got a jakks with the cell, have 3 wct and now both Mattel.
Ring only Mattel has crushed it. Being that tiny bit smaller, sturdier underneath and cloth buckles you cannot go wrong.
I won’t get rid of the others tho as they display so well with the cages and cell I have.

As a kid I loved a lot of what Jakks put out, starting with the TTL stage and the carrying case ring, but that was more so because of the stage and not the ring. My all time favorite was the Chamber that came with HBK and Triple H. The RSR Cell and the Wrestlemania ring with the cage were up there too, but the Chamber was what I had the most fun with.
As for Mattel, I love the Raw is War ring that I just got. So much better than the WTC. I hated those plastic turnbuckles and felt they never stayed aligned and that really annoyed me. It was also wobbly and the risers always fell off even from just sitting there. This newest ring is a thing of beauty, even if the size is slightly larger than my liking. Just wish the posts were metal instead of that plastic, makes me worry they’ll bend over time.

The Jakks real scale Elimination Chamber was nuts. I had heaps of tables as well, so, I used to fill it up with tables and have a good time. The thing was massive though. Kind of wish I kept it as my boys would love it now.
I don’t have any Mattel rings. I actually wouldn’t mind the ring that just comes with ropes and turnbuckles. I don’t like rings that get scratched up or scratch the wrestlers.

Having had the first Jakks scale ring, the WCT scale ring, and all the Mattel scale rings, I don’t think there’s been a perfect one. But my favorite overall is the Mattel New Gen/Attitude Era rings.
