He can keep staying away and go make scary movies or something. His entrance song is even worse than his matches with that awful, horrible chorus. It's some of the worst music I've ever heard and I like hardcore and many odd music genres.

his Fiend character is what started his downfall imo The Fiend was a breath of fresh air and really had fans hooked at the time. The fact he was a top merch seller during that period proved how popular the character was. They really should've just brought that character back instead of the weird stuff that's been going on.

And that’s exactly what people were hoping for. Which is why the Funhouse references got a pop during his return.

I don’t really know what his character is now aside from references to the past and Uncle Howdy. I was a huge Wyatt fan throughout his runs, but ever since he came back it’s like he doesn’t know what he wants to do. His character is that he has like 47 characters that all dilute each other. I’m not sure what the answer is, but in my opinion this run has been a total bust.

With Vince lurking in the shadows, I’m concerned Bray will be gone. It’s also double disappointing that he’s a shell of himself and no longer the Fiend.

Suspension of disbelief is required to be entertained by wrestling but Fiend took that to a whole new level and then some. From the casual neck snap, being beyond overpowered and kicking out at a one count after a Pedigree and six Curb Stomps, burnt Fiend looking like Killer Croc, walking through a tunnel and healing himself after being set on fire. Even Kane and Undertaker had their limits when it came to the supernatural. Like mentioned above, Bray should go to a version of himself like Undertaker done as the American Bad Ass. That first promo of his when he returned is the most I've liked him, because it was him. It wasn't supernatural, it wasn't 50 other characters, it wasn't endless rambling about nothing, it was just him.

The Fiend character was outlandish and very gimmicky. But, it was just another character we don’t get to see too often nowadays. Bray as himself is so incredibly boring and he’s literally just like every other guy around the block. His current character really made me dislike him honestly. I have always preferred the Fiend and never like Bray even from before (Eater of Worlds, etc).

Bray without a gimmick is nothing. The dark stuff made his career memorable. From Cult Leader to Fiend, all that stuff was loved and super over throughout the years.
Look at Strowman, he went from a dangerous monster who was legit scary to a muscly dude in red pants.

The backwater Wyatt Family cult leader was the only version I cared about. Nothing about the Fiend, Firefly Funhouse, or the Alexa Bliss stuff interested me. Wyatt Family had an interesting "Flock" feel to it. Braun was an okay addition, but they needed some smaller guys who could work. I thought only having Bray and 3 monsters was a problem. What we have now is horrible.

I know people didn't like it but he got pretty huge pops from the crowd and was number 1 merch seller for a long period. He apparently made 7 digit figures in merch sales. I get the gimmick wasn't for everyone but it was very popular.

There’s a reason Wyatt was the #1 seller in merchandise during his run as The Fiend.
