For some of the other's mentioned:
Foley - WWF. Even though I first saw him in WCW, and was a big fan of Cactus Jack, when I think of Mick it's his run in the late 90s with the WWF.
Bam Bam - WWF. I didn't see much of him in ECW, and he wasn't in the WCW for a long time. Plus, I liked both runs with the WWF (late 80s and mid 90s).
Steiner Brothers - WCW. Though I would love to put them as WWF, they just didn't have a long enough run, nor was it what it should have been. At least with LOD, they were the dominant tag team in the WWF from the time they entered in the summer of 1990 till the time they left after SSL92. Also, if my memory serves me correctly, I believe LOD were undefeated for a year and a half in the WWF. Their first loss was at RR92 to the Natural Disasters.

I think my association comes from where I first saw them. I was staunch WWF until the last few years when I started venturing in to other classic wrestling. Some of the ones the majority will likely disagree with are:
Ric Flair - WWF. One of the first (if not the first) matches I saw him in was RR92. Even though the WWF at the time we’re promoting him as a champion from another company, I can’t see past associating him with WWF. And not a diss on one of the greatest careers ever.
Jesse Ventura - WCW. (Sorry Brain). I used to watch a bit of WCW in 92 with Jesse in the booth. Not that his work was bad in WWF, but I strongly associate him in the booth of WCW to the point that I feel he’s slightly out of place on some WWF PPV’s (WM5 and SSeries 89 the exceptions). Same with Schiavone.
Hall and Nash - WCW. By this I mean Studd and Vinnie. Both had great WWF careers but can’t see past there early runs down south.
Dusty Rhodes - WWF. Similar to flair established elsewhere but not only do I associate with WWF I think he looks strange without the polka dots.

I was reading about Flair in PWI for a full year before I laid eyes on the guy on TV in that Funeral Parlor segment so hes WCW for me all the way. Man that shocked the hell out of me as an 11 year old though...I think by the time I had gotten his Hasbro he had left...LOL. Ditto with the Steiners
