They just put out the rating numbers for the A&E WWE Biographies. They started out really good, but the last number of shows haven't done too well. I wonder how long these will go on.
In order from most viewers to fewest:
01. Stone Cold Steve Austin - 1,062,000
02. Rowdy Roddy Piper - 880,000
03. Macho Man Randy Savage - 790,000

I really can't believe that Kurt Angle and Kane did worse than the Bella Twins, or that the Undertaker wasn't higher.

Are these live showings or number of streams? Im guessing the live showings. The ones that premiered during the summer are going to get higher ratings than the ones that premiered last month because they dont go against first run programming on network TV. |

The Bella Twins story was actually quite sad though.
It talked about how Nikki was raped a lot in her teen years and Brie's boyfriend being killed in a horrible car accident and how it shaped both women into who they became as they got older.

They have gotten really lazy with uploading stuff and none of these great documentaries go on there. Here in the UK we don't even get NXT on a 24 hour delay any more it's a 7 day delay! |

Mental to think that the undertaker aired the same day as Austin v Bret and both pull relatively low numbers. Don’t know much about U.S. tv (uk based) but wonder if WWF are missing their target audience by putting it on A&E rather than the network. |

Yeah, 6 of the 8 season 1 shows did more the 600,000+ viewers, no shows in S2 or S3 have. Yeah, I'm surprised that Taker's did low numbers, considering there aren't many bios of him out of character. You'd think that more people would have wanted to see it. It would also be interesting to see what other shows were on TV at the times of these shows. |

We're in a lull right now with who we have ... but another guy will come along. They always do. nah. Cena.....😳 There's no argument for Rock being Greater than Austin. He hit his stride in popularity when Austin was injured & when Stone Cold returned he went back to #2 immediately. Hogan & Austin is also a different argument. When I say there will never be another like Austin I'm referencing the time frame, culture etc. Wrestling fans will never foam at the mouth for a hero like Austin again the way they did. The business has changed far too much. I've no doubt another popular guy will come along but he won't touch Austins level. |
