Wish his run would've lasted longer. He was terrific playing that character, it was no fault of his that it went south because of real life events and a dumb unnecessary segment wrote by Vince (probably).
Dude was hated like no one else at that time, and I think the character had legs if they played it smarter. Plus, the guy was a good wrestler as well so we could have got some good matches out of him.
