Definitely wasn't necessary to hold a whole panel for a few slides and random jib jab, but maybe we'll get something decent on Sunday. Truth be told, nothing revealed tonight/this morning that couldn’t have been announced yesterday. The Gooker and DF are fine, but this should have been hard sell for the Nitro Stage and talk about supporting Elites and Ultimates. Pretty much. The defining moments should have been moved to today and preorders late sat pre WrestleMania. |

That Gooker set must be gigantic if it includes two normal sized Ultimate boxes plus the egg and the platform the egg was on The egg is probably in peices that you have to put together. |

They had an LWO thing on Smackdown tonight? Maybe they’re gonna do some WCW references in the coming weeks? If they did those and aired ads for the stage during the shows it could draw some interest

The panel reveals are for things they don’t have physically ready to show yet. It wasn’t a totally inspiring reveal sure, and it being at the end of the day is a factor too. Don’t think it’d feel so negative if it was in the afternoon. |

Love the Dakota the most out of the stuff from tonight. Solo and Bron look good but I’ve been kinda tuned out for the last year. If the fender stays accurate, best Gargano head and may have to get that. Steiner stuff that occurred today aside, seems odd they started with 2001 heel Rick, though I guess most of his face run, even solo, is too close to the Steiner Bros which were probably being held til after the arena sale closed.

One thing Re: advertising the Nitro arena here: this wasn’t an officially streamed event or anything. Like yes, Steve alluded to the idea that this would likely be unofficially live-streamed on figure accounts (to a hardcore audience who are already very aware of the crowdfund anyway) but in reality it was an event in front of small # of people and came off as such.

I would of done a spoof with a kid ordering a set to pay homage to those days where WCW offered those kind of items. Then have the website link and announcer say you could have this set for only $400, yes $400 with four payments of $100. Have Bill and Steve O dress up as the announcers. There's just so many creative ways to have gotten this thing rolling. If this thing fails, I wouldn't even blame us at this point. I'm backing mine up this week. |

Panels like this should advertisements for new collectors, casual collectors, for people on the fence about the crowdfund, etc. There were a ton of people after the HoF ceremony streaming into the SuperStore, but the Mattel panel was held in a corner of the building behind a barrier only for people with priority passes.
