This line (both the Elites and Ultimates it seems) being announced for Smyths in the UK is a huge win not just for us here, but also for Americans. Smyths are generally speaking excellent in my experience: they deliver their online orders rather than cancel them, they stock their stores rather than leaving the pegs empty for months, etc. - it's a remarkably different approach to that of Walmart  This potentially means that we in the UK can help you in the US to get anything that Walmart messes-up - kind of like when Smyths suddenly started receiving the Collectors Editions Elites like the tag team Davey Boy Smith, Kama, the original Zelina Vega, etc., well before Walmart or Target stores started getting them; I helped quite a few people here to get them. Figures here of course are more expensive here than in the US, sales tax (VAT) is far higher here, plus then of course the cost of international postage, but potentially this line should now be accessible to everyone due to them being available with Smyths - a huge win. |

It would impress me if they got Mike Tenay as a BAF for the line. I would love if they did a Mongo McMichael instead. |

Wonder if they would stretch the definition and include stuff from Invasion Era Raws. It was still called Raw Is War until October 2001. Some of the best Angle attires were from that period as well as being able to include RVD

I've got a feeling Stevie Ray coming back to the line won't just be a one-shot. We've gotta be getting an NWO version somehow, maybe the Legends line.
For first time in the line figures, there are so many WCW guys I would like to see, but I'm having a hard time picturing who Mattel would realistically make. So many of these guys never worked for WWE, or seem like highly unlikely signings. I'm thinking Alex Wright and Disco Inferno fall into this category.
I'm going to guess this line will be very 1997-1998 heavy, when there was actually a competitive "war" between the two companies. Dudleyz, Angle or World Champion Booker T feel like they would be just outside the timeframe that this line would focus on. Just my take, I could be wrong.

It's excellent that Smyths is bringing this line to Europe & that I can get them here in Ireland.

The problem with the MNW elites, Ultimates is basically your only going to get the same old faces Mattel have access too. It would be nice to get new faces but what are the chances?
