Wasn’t he in Series 103 or 104? So unless RSC did it today I don’t think they listed anything after Series 102 so how can anyone cancel their preorder?
They're talking about canceling the crowdfund orders over this, either out of spite at a potential future Steiner cancellation or an attempt at pressuring Mattel with consequences to their high-ticket item.

There’s no freedom of speech on a privately owned message board. But I see a lot of evidence of people sitting on grievances and feeling the need to keep poking people to release said grievances on a message board about toys.

I was probably unclear: It's not that. People who want the Rick figure are talking about canceling their crowdfund order because they're angry that Mattel might cancel Rick.

I'm not advocating anyone do anything. I'm just saying that we need official word if Rick is gone or not. If he is then me and my friends are going to take a long break from the hobby. If you guys don't care, awesome. The Steiners were a big deal for many legend only people, losing them and more than likely never getting them back is a huge deal for some of us. I don't agree with what he said but you can't have a wife beater on the roster and ignore Cena's gay jokes and only go after certain people, it's what Chris Rock was talking about. I think he needs to apologize regardless but again we just need official word.

There is no official stance we have been given by Mattel as to the status of this figure. We have chosen not to post any further photos of the figure from this weekend. I don't know when Mattel or WWE commenting on this will happen, or if it ever will, in any official capacity. It's beyond exhausting trying to catch up with all this especially as I have an actual job to do this weekend outside of this one aspect of the event so I am locking this thread and anyone that makes another Rick Steiner thread I will personally have banned.
Ringside Collectibles does not support, condone or agree with any type of transphobic language and the people who have been delivering it, do yourselves and all of us a favor and walk out the door now. Once the posts and language are reviewed (keep in mind our mods do this in their spare time), I'm expecting a ban of anyone who continued it, especially after Jack Specific made the post saying not to discuss it any further. Going against Jack's word is unacceptable and the continuing fuel on the fire of this situation will not be tolerated. Beyond that I find the defense of that idea the way I've seen it discussed particularly abhorrent and unacceptable.
To the allies (of which I am one, keeping in mind) and people that are very angry and hurt by this, I understand you are upset...pestering me with messages and going absolutely bonkers at anyone and anything you can via our boards and social media channels is not the way to solve those feelings. If you want to have a civil discussion about it with others, there is Twitter, there is Instagram, there are all kinds of public forums, not under our banner, to voice your opinions. This forum is meant to stick to figure talk as made clear by the forum's lead manager. If you are receiving any threats or being told things that make you feel in danger, contact me personally with a message and we can resolve it. Otherwise, avoid stoking negative discussion and don't fight with anyone trying to get a rise out of you. Continuing to fight or making it worse will cause you to be banned as well without question. I don't want to have to do that but I am asking this nicely because I think you are on the right side of the situation initially but this is not the place to have this debate, period.
This is the final warning. If you aren't already likely going to be banned, if you mention it again, expect to be banned shortly after.
