I feel like Marvel Legends fans complain about this for characters like Iron Man (etc) on occasion. That "toy" gold is gross - Jazwares nailed this look and there's a gold version of tights with easy torso swap if ya really need it to look like this. Absolute load of BS. Marvel Legends puts metallic finished gold on their Iron Man figures. Mattel has done it tons of times, too. There is a basic Rey Mysterio from like 2012 that has a gold color 50x better than this one.  Not to mention all of the other figures they've put perfectly fine gold colors on. Goldust, Stardust, Sin Cara, Seth Rollins, Randy Savage, Alberto Del Rio, Batista, Booker T, Shelton Benjamin. All of these figures range anywhere from production in 2011 all the way up to figures that were just in stores a few months ago I will never understand the people who say "easy fix" when the problem is NOT how easy it can be fixed. The problem is that they made an exclusive figure, charged people $55 a year in advance for it, and made the final product look way more inaccurate than the photo I preordered was. And Jazwares has a gold version so its an easy torso swap? Please send me the video of how to "easily" swap a UE torso onto Jazwares legs. I bet that looks great. Now I'm $70 into this one figure for it to be accurate + the time it took to make the new custom. Do you think $70 is too high?! Guess what? Its not enough! The only Jazwares Cody in this attire IS A CHASE. So now I'm $200 (or more, who even knows the price of that figure anymore). And thats IF you can put UE torsos on AEW lower legs. (which you can't). |

Whoβs to say thatβs the final look. This could just be an early sample that Bill & Steve received. The figure isnβt shipping for a few months yet which probably means it hasnβt gone into production yet. So for all we know they could have already said change the color.

I think his Star Trek chase is in all gold. |

With different designs? That one I ainβt tracking down a chase for hundreds, opening it up, and swapping Mattel parts onto it |

Iβm a late comer to Ultimate Edition, and Mattel WWE figures in general, so I didnβt even know about this figure being made to order. Do you think it will be hard/expensive to get on the secondary market? If they donβt fix the tights color just wait for the next one or buy the AEW Supreme |

I emailed Mattel and they canceled my order. I kind of regret canceling. But, I can not justify spending $55~ after shipping and tax for this figure. Dosent seem like a smart decision you probably could've flipped it for like 100 bucks when you got it. |

Obviously since I collect MOC and the box hides the figure, I wonβt lose any sleep here.
If the tights color bugs someone enough that they no longer want it, Iβll buy it for what you paid plus additional shipping to me.
