Yeah, I just saw it on Facebook that Luke Williams verified it that Butch had passed.
R.I.P. Butch!
His matches in Stampede with Dynamite Kid as their partners were impressive!
His barbed wire matches with the Fantastics in the UWF were bloody and hardcore!
His run in the WWE was fun and enjoyable.
His Hall of Fame speech was entertaining and educational!
A classic he was, along with Luke!

I bet he gave Saint Peter a licking as he went through the pearly gates  I preferred the Sheepherder run more but no doubt the Bushwhackers were entertaining in the WWF Lets all give a ''whoaaaaaaa!!! and yayyyyy!!!'' in his honor.RIP Butch |

RIP.
My main memories of them is creeping my sisters hot friend out trying to lick her face when I was 7 or 8 and the Family Matters episode.
Also could of swore I read that Luke passed a few years back but guess not.

That is really sad to hear.
I was only ever familiar with his WWF work, but they were always fun. I remember the stuff they did with Jamison being funny and at the 1992 European Rampage, my dad who was really had the most passive interest in wrestling at most, was laughing and got such a huge kick out of their shtick. I also remember my dad being so excited and thinking it was so cool when I got The Bushwackers figures lol.
I also have to say that Butch was one of those "secretly yoked" guys as the kids say these days. He was jacked to hell, but he never really got credit for being in great shape.
RIP big man, you and Luke were entertaining as hell!

Sad stuff...RIP Butch. I always enjoyed the Bushwhackers & really enjoyed their Hasbros as a kid.
When I read in PWI they used to be bloodthirsty heels? I turned them in my Hasbro fed & they went on a rampage en route to challenging Demolition & The Steiners a few times for the straps....

I could only imagine if they turned heel during the Attitude Era or had a short stint in ECW.
Their runs in Puerto Rico are some of the most violent & bloodiest matches ever.
