Mattel is finally breaking the mold, and offering non suited BAF figures.
It's about damn time!

My Paul Ellering’s waist is held together on a wing and a prayer. I hope actual wrestler BAFs hold up a little sturdier.
I hope this means that more managers/non-wrestlers make it into the basics line. I don’t need elite interviewers and commentators. I can settle for basics. The fact we still don’t have a Michael Cole basic is a crime.

The fact we still don’t have a Michael Cole basic is a crime. The arm on mine could never click in. Had to glue it That’s because a lot of the Chynas (the figure that came with the arms) ended up with a bunch of wonky BAF arms. The BAF arms are asymmetrical. The left shoulder peg is shaped differently from the right shoulder peg. One has a point, the other has a stump. This is so you can’t click them into the wrong side of the body. For whatever reason, a ton of Paul Ellering arms ended up with both arms have the same exact shoulder piece despite the rest of the arm being correct. So his left bicep-forearm-hand would be on a right shoulder or vice versa. And they got packaged that way with Chyna and shipped out. And there seems to be a ton of Chynas that got shipped with these manufacturer’s error Paul Ellering arms. And I think it’s the same arm in every instance. The first Chyna I got came with the messed up BAF arms, but the second one I got had the correct arms. They clicked into place with no issues. And I compared both sets of the arms with each other to make sure my theory was correct. Sadly, it was correct.

Yay Mattel for doing something they should’ve done YEARS ago?

Mine was the same way. Heated it, popped the arm off the socket and put it on the other and it fit right in. Just a manufacture fubar.

Yay Mattel for doing something they should’ve done YEARS ago? Good thing they're starting now, before non-suited Build A Figure's somehow get copyrighted and become unattainable.
