I hope this helps Mattel see what the fans want the most to help us get to 5,000 for the Ultimate Nitro Entrance. If for anything else I am interested to see everyone's top pick.

Honestly I'd rather have the option to buy the stage by itself with no figures, for a lower price.
More-obscure WCW figures would have been my personal preference, but whatever anyone's figure picks, Mattel will always be making new figures.
The stage is the unique offering here, and both Mattel and us fans should be focusing more on the stage.

Steiner, but from Mattel’s point of view it makes sense to put him at a higher tier. Because if he’s first people really won’t care once it reaches 5000 and we have him. This way they are hoping the fans will help promote this via word of mouth for us to reach Steiner and Warrior which is more sales for them.

PJ,
I would think if Steiner is the most desirable one - it would assure at least the 5,000 in sales which everyone wants. Then all of the rest is bonus for everyone. I think many people are hedging because they don't really want the Rey and they fear it won't reach Steiner therefore what is the point. But again we are all just giving our opinions and speculating.

Warrior for me because I’m bias.
But without bias it’d be
Steiner>DDP>Warrior>>>>>Rey>>>>>>>Hogan

Warrior for sure, especially since Steiner is "first announced", not first time in the line (or any line), meaning another will come out first and the excitement of this one will fall.
We already have that DDP in Elite.
Hogan isn't special enough.
Steiner (see above).
Rey is cool because it's his WCW debut.
#1 Warrior..I think they messed up not showing the duster at first.

Yes, but if they put Steiner in Rey or Hogan’s spot once it reaches the 5000 Mattel’s fear would be it’ll stall out. Having him at the higher tier they (Mattel) are hoping we’ll (supporters) generate more sales promoting it via word of mouth because we who backed it already want to get the higher tier figures. So they’ll hoping we’ll be free advertising for it. Personally I wish he was in DDP’s spot, because I feel if he was there we’d be much closer to 5000 and a much easier path to reaching 7000 (is that DDP’s tier?) by the end of the timeline.

This poll already shows you why Hogan was THE WORST possible choice for the early bird. That along with the international scamming are why this has failed so badly

I would have been 1000% happy if it were just the Steiner , DDP and a 98 booker t….a warrior in jeans doesn’t do it for me

That's not how this works - the Stage + Rey = $400 - the extra figures are bonuses on top of that I guess if you dumped Rey you might save the $30...but that's it

Warrior. I know they’ve said they won’t, but I hope he gets released eventually after the crowdfund goes tits up.

I want Warrior the most and Steiner the least. They better release the Warrior down the road if it doesn’t reach the 11K.

I actually want Hogan the most out the lot but can’t afford the $600 right now; might be able to do something end of the month but then that’s too late for the Hogan so go figure. The Rey is straight up trash, don’t know why the two weren’t swapped around because that one alone is no incentive to go in for the stage if it was to meet 5000. I don’t mind waiting for DDP & Steiner to come out another way if the tiers aren’t met so not bothered about the others. The Hogan is the level of figure I’d expect to get as a minimum with this thing - imagine it would be released another way assuming this thing fails to get to 5000.

Steiner, easily. The others are great, but Steiner really brings out the ToyBiz nostalgia for me. I think if there was more of that inspiration as it relates to the figures themselves, I would be more excited for this campaign.

For me, it's the DDP since my WCW collection is 1997 based so the DDP and Rey will fit perfectly into that period.

That along with the international scamming are why this has failed so badly normally I'd mention that this poll isn't scientifically accurate, but there is a huge number of hardcore buyers on this board, aka a huge chunk of the buying public

The only figure I actually care anything about is Stiener. The timing of Hogan worked against them. We've had so many red/yellow versions and the WCW Legends is almost out so that killed some of the anticipation. If this was announced a year ago it would have been a different reaction.

Dallas for sure, though I really want that Rey too.
