In case not everyone follows the Steve Q & A thread, he confirmed that this line is continuing through 2026 (at least)! At the current release schedule, after Bam Bam/ Bossman, that gives us 3 more waves. I want the LJN homage classics, personally- Andre (blue trunks)/ Studd, Sheik/ Volkoff, and Beefcake/ Valentine. However, I could absolutely see The Dream Team getting bumped for Ventura, or even a Warrior/ HTM set. What do you all think? With 3 more sets now all but guaranteed, who do you think we are getting? Of course, if we get Macho back, he is absolutely getting in this line regardless of who it bumps out! I have to assume if we're only guaranteed three more sets they're gonna bring out the biggest names possible my best guesses in no particular order are Ventura/Bruno? Warrior/HTM Andre/Studd Any of those sets could definitely get flexed out by a Savage/Liz set though. I may be grasping at straws but I wonder if they can prolong the line by dropping a strong set or two in a row to bump numbers and get greenlit an extra year or two |

Yeah, I could see them trying to go as big as possible to impress Mattel and Amazon(?) to continue the line further.

Volkoff really needs to be bigger. The guy was 300lbs and they make him the same size as Honkytonk man

Strike Force
All with the their jackets with removable jacket arms

I would like to see Andre / Studd but they have to do red and black robe instead.
Is Muraco still signed him a heel would be nice
and wish they still had Tito for 80s version with blue Arriba shirt and green IC Belt.
and yes a new Volkoff done the right way for sure !!!

Hoping this goes beyond 2026 but these are essential in my mind. Andre / Studd Sheik/ Volkoff Jyd / Hillbilly Jim I like your lineups, but I really don’t think JYD is an option for them at this point. Hillbilly Jim, we haven’t seen a fig of in years, but rumor more than a year ago was that he was back, so one can hope! |

You know they'd put them here first, because the collector demand for these guys would really sell the line.
I'll also be very surprised if we don't get a Yellow/Red Hulk Hogan before this line ends. It was one of the core figures of the LJN Series.

As for Demolition, I would LOVE them in this line. That said, I could see them being an exclusive Ringside set or even slotted in the Legends line first/instead for increased exposure/sales potential. |

I’m really wanting Hillbilly Jim in this line as well. I was never a fan of the soft goods overalls they gave the legends fig. Would be great to have molded overalls with 3 new heads. His hair and beard was a lot puffier (sp?) in 85-87, the legends head lacked that.
We really need JYD & Kamala in this line too

Selfishly, I’m not really clamoring for Bruno or even Jesse in this line, the more that I think about it. I’m 45, began really watching wrestling heavily around Mania 3, though I did go back and rent a LOT of the Coliseum videos. But even as a kid, I didn’t really care for the LJNs of Bruno or Jesse because they felt like they were “before my time.” Jesse I knew more as the (excellent) color commentator, and while Bruno occasionally wrestled still, he was not a mainstay wrestler by the time I was really watching. I know they had LJNs, but they still don’t feel like “LJN era” to me.

I know they had LJNs, but they still don’t feel like “LJN era” to me. I cant say im excited by the idea of Bruno getting into the CC before a lot of other names. Truth be told Bruno doesn't really need an ultimate, they could have just tacked a younger head sculpt and a WWWF world title onto the elite they did instead of the podium and it would suffice for me. Ventura I'm a bit more excited for since he's a first timer and his look has a bit more going on, but he's also not at the top of my list of figures I want to see in the line. The thing that excites me the most about getting Ventura in the CC is that it's the best shot we have at getting an updated commentary Monsoon. |
