Updated the disappointing news about Lou getting moved to Legends.

I believe it was mentioned on the Major Pod at some point that Mean Gene was no longer under a deal, but perhaps I’m misremembering.

I think based on how Brutus Beefcake is selling on Clearance, you can take him off the list of next in the series.

I honestly don’t recall, how was Jake’s Legends fig selling when his Coliseum Collection figure in similar look came shortly thereafter? Regardless, I’m not sure Brutus would be considered strong to anchor on his own (even though I’d want him). But maybe paired with Valentine as The Dream Team, and giving him the old school vest, would be good for the audience collecting this line. I am sure that Warrior, Andre and Sheik are higher priorities to Mattel, but a Dream Team set is high on my wish-list!

When Jake the Snake Roberts legends chase first went on sale I blinked and it was gone. Maybe if they released Brutus Beefcake in the Coliseum Collection in the same attire before bringing it out as an Elite Greatest Hits, it could be considered. I think the only Brutus Beefcake that will sell now is the "Barber" gimmick, long hair, with pink/fuschia attire. Why? Because collectors will have that nostalgia feel when they first collected the Hasbro figures. But Mattel is dragging their feet in pulling the trigger on that one. I would be happy with Andre or Sheik in the next line, although with the Legends 21 figures I feel like in good on Andre figures for now. Sheik I would definitely like an Ultimate figure of him representing his LJN look. Ultimate Warrior I wouldn't get unless it's from Summerslam 1989. And that's really stretching it because I always think Hasbro era when I think The Ultimate Warrior.

I am positive you are right that there are more current collectors nostalgic for Hasbro figures/looks than the LJN figures/looks. And your time will come, I’m sure, but I’ll enjoy the LJN homage era (Coliseum Collection and Big Rubber Guys) while it lasts!

He would be great for the Coliseum Collection and make for a great figure.

I hold the LJN collection in such high regard that I prefer they stay within the original releases and those that were announced for the final/lost wave. But truly, to each their own.

I'd prefer Friday/Kim Chee over Iaukea by far. Iaukea didn't seem to last too long that I recall while the Kim Chee character was with Kamala for all 3 of his WWF runs.
