Ultimate or Elite...Doesn't matter to me. The real question is: light jeans and white rib tape, or darker jeans and black rib tape? Might make for a good chase variant in the Legends line. Definitely light jeans and white rib tape. Exactly what I want. I'd like both DDP in jeans and Mr.Perfect from Starrcade '97. |

For the Ultimate: - Bonus head
- Diamond Cutter hands
- DDP diamond hand symbol sleeveless shirt
- abdominal tape
- WCW US title
- blue vest
As for the jeans, I'd go with the darker ones with black tape personally since I remember this being his primary look against Raven. I went to a '98 WCW house show, and those two had a killer Raven's Rules match that stole the show. He did wear lighter jeans against Savage (and the tights), so it would be a solid choice, too. I think Savage and Raven were 2 of some of his best opponents, so you can't really go wrong with either look. My biggest concern is that they'll do the shiny blue Karl Malone ones instead since they are more flashy. Those would be cool later, but let's get the primary look out first. I think the Ultimate stands a better chance to get a new tucked in jeans mold. He wore 'em like tights, they weren't baggy at all. |

Ultimate would give us the best Diamond pose. Include the Diamond shirt, removable rib tape, vest, couple heads, and a title.

What could they include in his ultimate to make it worth the price? Exactly Really? It would pretty much be the same as the new AJ Styles Ultimate: cloth shirt, waistcoat, 2 or 3 extra heads, extra hands. Plus a rib-wrapping. That's plenty for an UE. You could even include the US title too. |

I have several Ultimates and I low-key kinda hate them compared to Elites. The only thing worth while on Ultimates is the accessories it comes with, a lot of which could just come with Elites. That DX Triple H? That shirt and hat could easily come with an Elite of the figure. The Elites' ab crunch is superior. The toe articulation is annoying and flimsy. The butterfly joints don't seem to give me as much motion as I was expecting. I will say the arms that pop off are brilliant and should be adopted in the Elite line.

My most iconic DDP is the one from his feud with Raven. |

The most important thing to me is he gets a serious/intense headscan. That's the DDP I remember. NOT SMILING.
Ideally I want an Elite in blue-diamond shirt and jeans, in homage to the Toybiz Smash N Slam figure. But the serious/intense headscan is still by far the most important thing to me.

You could even include the US title too. I get what you're saying, but I'd rather have that space saved for a neon cowboy macho or a mid 90's hbk. I feel that jeans DDP is just too "bland" for the ultimate line. Gladly take an elite though. Save the ultimate spots for guys who had alot of entrance attire or items that went with them |
