Two of the biggest factions ever & two of the best things to come outta the 90s! You really can’t picture the wrestling business without em.
I’m going with NWO but I love both & it’s great to see em both still show up on WWE TV in recent years... whenever they show up on RAW or SD it always gives me some good throwback vibes.
I also loved the 2002 run with NWO & wished it lasted another year or two at least.

For me its DX. I have fonder memories of them.....now I loved the nWo but I started to get tired of it in 1998. Plus the nWo civil war turning out to be a con annoyed the living p*ss out of me.
I really enjoyed original DX with HBK/HHH.
Like most other folks? I loved the DX Army with the 5 of them in there...They were a massive highlight of 98/99 and HHH turning on them is still one of the best/most unexpected heel turns EVER.
I enjoyed their reunion as heels too in the fall of 99. It was good for HHH to have a faction for Austin and the Rock to beat the sh*t out of when he could remain unharmed. Also enjoyed Stephanie instead of Chyna in the faction. Same personnel but it felt VERY fresh.

NWO. I was never really a fan of DX, they were funny at times, but that's about it. NWO was great for the first year and a half, but then it got too convoluted.

For me, 1996 and 1997 I was NWO 4 Life!
But I wasn't a real DX fan until around May of 1998, when DX went face and were being the good guys. From then on, I was DX all the way!
Which I know is ironic, being an HBK fan that I wasn't a fan of DX when it first started. But I just didn't like heel HBK then, I was still riding high on that "boyhood dream has come true" stuff.

NWO is great in hindsight but unfortunately the most I got to see of them live was during their WWF stint where Hogan and Rock had their feud so there were only a couple members left. I knew who they (Hogan, Outsiders & Macho Man) were when I was watching wrestling back then but never watched an episode of WCW live. Only later on after they were gone did I get to go back and see full episodes. My great aunt and uncle only watched WWF so that's the only wrestling I knew at the time. NWO was far more vicious and dominant but I liked DX's members/promos/matches more. HHH & HBK are all time greats. Gunn and Road Dogg have phenomenal chemistry together. Xpac, Torrie and Chyna were meh for me personally. Chyna was dominant of course and a wonder to behold at the time but as someone else said I preferred the iterations with Steph. She's way easier to hate and she gathers heat like a wool blanket. Chyna did more for me when she was working with Jarrett or Eddie than DX. At least in my eyes.
Answer: DX

Loved the first 18 or so months of the nWo and the first 2 incarnations of DX ('97-'99), but nWo was, like The Brain said, must see TV (at least the first 18 months or so).

DX had their moments but they're not even on the radar compared to The nWo. The only faction I can/would put against the dominance of the 4 Horsemen of the 80s is the nWo of the 90s. Nobody else IMO comes close.

Original nWo was so good, DX had to be made out of it.

Each had downfalls and ups
NWO Civil War would of been huge but it amounted to nothing and had stupid members and created NWO Elite which was overbooked mess.
DX 2009 ; well that speaks for itself points for good match quality
NWO 2000…
