Hell Savage is TNA was even better than Warrior in his prime.

Never got the appeal of Warrior. My dad said he loved him as a kid but I don't see anything of value there for me. Probably another one I'll have to deep dive to truly get. But in my eyes there can only be one cream of the crop and that's the Macho Man Randy Savage OHH YEEEAAHHH! I may have only seen a couple of his older matches but his promos and cameos in movies like Ready 2 Rumble or Spiderman along with his over the top personality showcased in commercials for the likes of Slim Jim, that is enough for me. Ultimate Warrior was absolutely perfect for the period of time he came up in but he would flop hard had he came along in any other era and doing the same act. |

My father was born in 73 so he probably would have been around 13-14 during the end of UW's WCCW run into the beginning of his WWF run. He used to have some cool posters from events he went to but I'm not sure what ever happened to them. He's a real man's man these days and never watched after Warrior so he probably got rid of them at some point as he told me when I was about 12 that "wrestling was fake and stupid" luckily I was my own person enough to make my own decisions. Always reminds me of this scene in RTR.  |
