I’d say it’s easily in my top 10 & possibly my top 5 ever but I just gotta rewatch a lil more of it again soon… it might even get into my top 3 WMs of all time.
What about you guys? One of the best? The best? Top 5,10,15 ?
Now imagine Cody Rhodes had won the Titles against Roman Reigns… most people would be going crazy but I’m fine with him losing & I still loved WM39 overall!

Probably top 10. It's hard comparing these 2 night events though. I genuinely believe if you cut a lot of the fat, kept all the great matches and had a 4-5 hour one night event you could have had the best Wrestlemania of all time overall.

Would have been No.1 if Cody had won, but since he lost, it dropped all the way to No.39.
In all seriousness though. Both nights were good/great in some parts. I think some of the hype/excitement will wear off over time (most people considered Mania last year one of the greatest of all time as well and I feel like you don’t hear that as much anymore).
It maybe cracks the top 10 for me but it would be on the back half around #8 or #9.

I’m ranking it low in hopes of making Rhea mad so we can have witty banter and our chances of making out go up, or I can at least surprise her with flowers and end up winning her over as a nice friend.

I’d say the best thing about WM39 was the fact that it had two big main events which delivered, both were entertaining throughout the whole thing even tho most people hated the ending of Reigns/Rhodes. WM38 had a great main event with Austin/Owens but the other main event was lacking tbh with Lesnar/Reigns... their match at SummerSlam last year was epic tho. I’d say overtime people will still say WM39 was one of the best & it’s gonna be hard to top it in the future. |

Also think it will be remembered for some solid matches even without having watched the stories and build up to the moment. They had plenty of recaps and feud packages but just pure wrestling there were a lot of really great matches. |

WWE built their storylines much better this year than in previous years, and there weren't any matches that were complete duds.

All in all it probably cracks the top 10. Night 2 brought it down pretty good for me despite that IC Title match. Cody winning would've definitely helped it out too. Night 1 was damn good in the moment, but I don't know if I'll remember is as fondly looking back on it.
