HBK has black and gray entrance gear compared to just gray from original release, also the hair color is different, it's the same scan but I believe it now has true fx as well.

The faces are updated on most, the Taker is a huge upgrade this time IMO. The previous ministry era Takers have been very cartoon-like in their appearance, this new one has the true FX and it’s worked wonders.

Other than elbows, what's the diff with the Mysterio figures?

Other than elbows, what's the diff with the Mysterio figures? The one from the first wave had swappable hands.

Does the Greatest Hits Jake have TrueFX? He looks exactly the same... nope I didn't think he did - it's just I thought all GH figures had the double-jointed elbows and TrueFX as standard...

Other than elbows, what's the diff with the Mysterio figures? The teeth facepaint on the GH is actually on his lips now. The original was way off.

Do these re releases actually hurt the value of the original? I mean if you had the original Harley Race, why would you sell it off to get the new one? You would think the OG would always hold its value.

You would think the OG would always hold its value. they do cause most casuals just want a figure they don't care if its the original or a re release. So only die hards are gonna splug say $200 for a figure when you can get a more updated figure for $24 at retail.

If you're a loose collector, I suppose it depends how fussy you are... ie. do you just want the figure or do you want the original figure(?)

I tend to agree, however I’d suggest the “casuals” wouldn’t be willing to spend $200 anyway.

Why would someone pay more money for an objectively worse figure than they would the re-release?

It’s because I seen the original selling on eBay for $50+. I have the original and just bought the re release. I don’t resell mine.

I only collect moc if it’s an sdcc, exclusive etc. then I’ll buy 2 of those and open 1 and keep the other moc. I have the original Race, but I always buy anything that was attitude, wcw , Golden eras rather it’s a rerelease or not. I just seen where people were selling their original Harley’s for like $50-$100 on eBay. I don’t resell mine, but maybe I should if they don’t hold their value, I need the shelf space anyway.

The idea behind the line I believe isn't to appeal to people who already own the figures. It's there for those who missed out on things, or for those who are just getting into the hobby now.
