I can’t help looking at this trio going up against the bloodline right now and think having Riddle being a heel who goes after the pair simultaneously being a good step to break the monotomy up. Riddle could adopt a more steely character and actually get the better of this 2v1 scenario
Cost them the belts to judgement day or back to Usos but prefer the former but do that either way to then get into subsequent singles bouts with them both thru the summer.
I feel like Wwe won’t have the stomach for it right now to change the dynamics at the top of the card but this is something I think would be refreshing to see and breathes some new life into Sami & Ko to feud with someone new. Gives Riddle the chance to try something new, even if short term.
Anyone else like this for Riddle?

I think they just need to make him less of a dumbass. They were on the right track with the Rollins feud, but as soon as it was over he just went back to his same old self.
A more serious Riddle could be a solid upper midcarder, face or heel.

I'm not really into the current character and would give a heel run a chance but not sure if he could pull it off.

I think Riddle is a very likable guy for the WWE audience, generally speaking. His huge goofy smile on his way to the ring is just contagious.
I also think WWE is a little weak right now with having a good, strong babyface that sort of floats between the midcard and the main event. Drew and a few others sort of fizzed out. Owens/Zayn are tag guys for the time being. You still have Rollins but he's sort of exhausted a lot of the mid-tier feuds with the heels. Riddle is a guy that you will always get a great performance out of. He is the perfect guy to float wherever you need a believable babyface.
He's great at wearing pain on his face and his selling gets a lot of crowd sympathy. He has some great instincts and timing on comebacks and finishes. I just think his best fit is going to be as a face indefinitely.

When Orton gets back,maybe let Riddle be the one who turns on him then but until then I say lets get a more serious face Riddle. Whatever you do with him,I just hope he gets a big push. |

I voted no, only because I want to also see him and RVD get a tag run (in my dreams I know) but I'd rather see him as a serious face before possibly adapting a bit of Randy's younger personality traits, feuding with the Legend Killer and eventually retiring him as a heel down the line in 3-5 years. Possibly sooner depending on the amount of time Randy has left. They could also go the Cena route with him and never make him heel bc the kids like him.

I do see the universal appeal of Riddle in his babyface run ala RVD or dare I say HBK, but I wouldn’t want to wait for years before seeing an alternative side. I don’t think he’d have to stay heel long term but there’s a lot of short term options that open up if he did turn around now. It wouldn’t hurt his appeal with fans either by doing so as he has all the likeable features still going for him. I’m also like, wouldn’t go so far as to say terrified but it would suck monkey nuts, that KO will turn on Sami eventually so looking for the alternative way out for this bloodline tag thing for those two guys too. You still have Rollins but he's sort of exhausted a lot of the mid-tier feuds with the heels. Just picking up on Rollins who for me is on the other side of the coin. Id turn him more face to sort of fill the space Riddle sits in now. He seems to already be going that way and you could build Rollins up to beat Brock or Gunther even at Summerslam, either would be a big win. Position him to be the very next guy behind Cody, if for any reason he got injured, to go after Roman - which sure, he can hop into that spot anytime but a win over someone like Brock would help Rollins credibility a boatload right now as he’s just floating about. Maybe that one will happen anyway just depends if Cody beats Brock at Backlash, which he should in my opinion otherwise I see them dragging that thru to Summerslam. |

Yes, or at least a complete gimmick change. His promos are incomprehensible. He doesn't fit the current feud with the Bloodline vs Sami & KO at all.
