I have and it’s the “Thank you for your suggestions - we will do everything in our power to improve” This, 8 months ago and not a peep. At this point Steve is the only one with enough power to have any kind of discussion with the overlords. Maybe its because mattel is not delivering the product to walmart ? Walmart canceling pre-orders when they don't have the product ? I just seen 3 people post there pre-orders cancelled. Scratch that a whole bunch more people posted there cancelled orders. So maybe this line is dead already. |

That's what we are trying to figure out. If Mattel sent out all the product, why didnt every Walmart get said product? If they didn't send all, what's the hold up? There's no street dates involved, where's the product? Why did Walmart dot com trigger in stock and than cancel? All this and more if Steve ever gets us some info. Until then it's all hearsay. |

I just had all of my Superstars preorders cancelled, plus a RA Nash that was listed as in stock when I ordered. The issue is absolutely Walmart. Mattel delivers product on time with every single other retailer. I have a really hard time believing that there's some issue where they fail to deliver product, but only for one vendor and on every single product, every single time. The reality is that Walmart is a massive account and can call their shots. We've been dealing with this for years, going back to Walmart cancelling the Mean Gene BAF wave, to how they handled the Fan Central line to recently with the Hollywood line. And they'll keep doing it, because Mattel needs the business. |

Walmart cancelling preorders is nothing new. However usually some people would have their orders fulfilled, while others would have theirs cancelled. This looks like a mass cancellation of every WWE/Mattel preorder from last October. Very strange.
Did anyone order anything other than WWE/Mattel during the October Con? Did that get cancelled too?

My kevin nash got canceled today. I got a friend who works at my local walmart and sent me a picture of a box in the stock room that said wwe Ruthless aggression. I asked him to open it and it was the side shipper. It had 3 kevin nash in it so I was lucky enough to get him to hold them til I got there. So I think walmart is getting them they are just being shoved to the side and forgotten by the employees

ActionFigureAttack. Just find a loophole where you get these to Ringside or Mattel Creations so us fellow collectors can buy them. If Walmart won't carry them, Mattel should have them on their site so we can buy direct.
Steve, we know you love this community but please - we would like it if you can step in just a little bit right now. Both for the RA line and the safety of the long awaited MNW line.

Well, I had a feeling it was coming, but I am still pretty ticked off.... Superstars Macho Man - ordered in October - Delayed in December - Delayed in April - now cancelled. I will be trying to file a complaint about this, I know they don't care, but it's not a good business practice to offer items online that you can't fulfill. I don't really want to pay above retail for these, so I likely won't be buying this.  |

Again everyone needs to read this and ask who is "responsible". Mattel is doing a terrible job getting wwe figures to walmart. Mattel is getting the wwe figures to walmart but they are not getting the product to stores. Mattel is not doing there job, walmart is not doing there job, or it be both. Distribution of wwe figures has always been not that great, overall. It does seems that it has gotten worse at walmart stores. So pegs at walmart stores are empty for months then they get overstocked with several cases of the same series. I think a solution might be to get mattel reps go to walmart stores, and assess the situation. An even better solution would be just completely switch over to a vendor model for mattel products at walmart and target stores. If mattel as a company wants to exist in the future and not die out or get taken over (hasbro) I think this is what they should do. Would love to hear what Action Figure Attack and MattelDesignTeam think about this. If you have a dedicated vendor i would think your sales would increase because there would be a lot less empty pegs. Would a small increase in sales at walmart and target stores not pay for the potential vendor's salary ? What bothers me most is that stuff gets put out sporadically and when there is a resupply it is put out by someone who in my experience can not even read english ( i kid you not ). So walmart is not hiring the best of the best. So it is no wonder that a regional manager has to put out missing stock. The best solution for mattel long term is to do what lego did; open up their own store. The mattel store in california should also be in every major city shopping center. Then when something is not in stock we know that mattel employees didn't have the fortitude to do an inventory check and replenish product before it got too low. Or... that there are supply chain issues. Product promised to be delivered by insert date not arriving on time for reasons a-z. I remember walking into toysrus stores and seeing the hasbro reps putting out new cases of star wars figures. Oh happy days. This is something clearly lacking today. Toysrus closing their doors waS a huge blow to collectors. Now we are all forced to get most of our toys online Walmart cancelling orders may simply be due to the fact that product wasnt available to be fulfilled. So the amount of preorders does not match what is in stock. The obvious question is why does the inventory not match the manifest. I have my theories but will keep that to myself. Btw i wonder when our friend paul will resupply his store?  |

the disaster that became Walmart for figures. its funny how Target became better than Walmart , i remember Walmart was doing quite well until the Flashback line really killed them. after that, its gotten worse and worse.. ive never seen a online mess or retail store mess like it.. They never restock in store and its barely a couple cases. online is just another animal with the pre-orders and instock items that are sold by 3rd party scalpers.

My walmart seems up to date with other ones around my area are too. Elite 105, ultimate randy set, superstars vader wave. And whatever basic set that has pat and hogan. Plus still sitting on ra ultimates of brock and ra elites mvp and rock.
