Had to watch late... Skipped Omos/Rollins because I don't think there are many matches in any promotion I could care less about than that. Maybe a Callihan vs. Maclin match lol. Io/Bianca was great as expected, and that was still Io at like 60%. Triple threat was more fun than expected, considering I don't like 2 of the 3 involved. Good job Lashley, you made Theory and Reed tolerable for 10 minutes. Rhea/Vega was too fast and predictable, but reminded me why I like watching Vega wrestle. Bunny/Priest was both average and absolutely amazing at the same time. Like, it was an average plunder match that did an excellent job of connecting a story through the plunder. Then I remember Bunny is a ing musician, and suddenly this is amazing because like WTF, how can you be this good? Logan Paul I get, he was a D1 athlete, but Bad Bunny is a freaking musician and the man could pass for a veteran any day of the week. Hats off to both those guys. Bunny for hanging and Priest for being an amazing professional and masking any weaknesses Bunny could have and putting that together. 6 Man tag -- MOTN for me. This was fantastic. I don't have much to say but the bloodline saved Sefa Fatu, because without this Solo Sikoa character it the bloodline he was mid a.f. Cody/Brock -- This match absolutely stunk. P.S. They advertised Bunny/Priest as a co-main event and there was a non main event after it, so I hope everyone who whined a couple years back about the women being a main event being the main event on night 1 of wrestlemania raised absolute hell in this thread. My god does the amount of sexism in sport depress me. I haven't read the thread here so don't @ me about this to be like "we didn't" it's a general statement, just man....Coaching almost exclusively women for like 12 years running, I can't imagine being one of them with the crap they go through to get respect. All in all, 5/7 ain't bad. But, Cody/Brock being one of the 2 is inexcusable.

Bloodline winning everything gets tiring after a while. Riddle has been back five minutes and it feels like Baron Corbin has more wins than him. The same story with Jey and Solo could have been told if they took a loss as well. I hope that the Bloodline / Sami and Owens feud can come to an end cause I'm ing over superkick after superkick after superkick after superkick after superkick after double superkick after superkick after superkick after superkick. Bad Bunny and Priest was awesome. Love that the crowd immediately knew Carlito's music and man they popped for it. in' Carlito in 2023 of all people, and I was all here for it. Didn't care for Savio Vega though. It looked like Bunny landed awkwardly on his head during the Sliced Bread. The first few minutes of Cody and Lesnar made me think that we were going to get a slightly different Lesnar match compared to the suplex repeat that were so used to seeing. The finish did seem kind of rushed but with reason I guess. Wouldn't surprise me if Lesnar costs Cody a match in the tournament and leads to a rematch at Night Of Champions later this month. I hope this leads to more shows outside of the usual places that WWE visit. Clash At The Castle, Backlash and AEW's UK ticket sales so far should be an indication to take PPVs on the road once or even twice a year. Like how Elimination Chamber became a Saudi PPV last year and instantly made a B PPV seem like a big deal.

Great show top to bottom.
Bad Bunny and Priest was unreal, and had everything about it to make it just a brilliant match that got more and more absurd yet even more brilliant as it went along. Hats off to both because that was really fun and made me remember why I love wrestling.

Decent show. Really liked Bunny vs Priest. Huge night for Ito Sky, showing she can hang with the top talent. Good performance from Zelina Vega too. Cody vs Brock was alright.

Crowd made what was somewhat of an average card a lot more enjoyable. Lesnar's botched blood spot seemed to overshadow anything else that followed, and it felt like they rushed to finish the match once he had cut open. It's sad that in an after-hours show, on a Premium Live Event, that they can't celebrate his cut, and instead had to have him face away from the hard cam and use further-out cameras to show the rest of the match with, and almost hide his injury rather than sell it. The finish was also botched pretty bad on Lesnar's part, so it's hard to tell if this was done on purpose to set up a rematch, or if it was just a fluke quick win for Cody to now move on. A roll up was probably the only way they could realistically have Cody go over clean here, since it's catching Lesnar off guard. Hard to know what to make of it, but it wasn't a classic, and Lesnar looked pis*ed at the end. Don't really agree that they hid his injury. Literally focused on his face as their closing scene and also when he hit the turnbuckle they didn't exactly cut away quickly when he started bleeding. I watched the 1st 3 matches live and then watched the others this morning. Bianca vs IYO was excellent. Best match of IYO's main roster run so far (not hard, but still) Seth pulled it out of his ass to make Omos watchable. Wondered how the finish would go down Triple threat was decent but felt a little short. Same as above for Rhea and Zelina. Street fight was fun. The cameos from Carlito and Savio were great! Priest had a great performance overall 6 man was good but there's been better variations during this storyline. I thought Solo would've turned but guess it makes more sense to have Roman there when it happens Cody and Brock. Short and sweet. Brock bleeding was a surprise. Turnbuckles and posts don't like him lol Overall another good PLE

Brock - Cody wasn’t a masterpiece but I don’t see how it was bad. Better Brock match than 95% of his other matches.

Iyo f*cking Sky baby!!! I know they're probably saving Bianca losing the title for Charlotte but Iyo is the best option they have on Smackdown. Give Iyo the MITB and finish up this awful Damage Ctrl stable, Bianca can turn heel and Iyo can take the title and be Smackdowns top lady. Easily Motn for me.
Bunny/Priest was awesome too,if you still don't think Bunny and Paul are good enough to get in a WWE ring,I just dont think you're paying attention. Sure I wish JD would get more big wins but they look great every time they go out there and put on a show. I need a f*cking Carlito elite,I just want to be cool!
Rhea/Vega wasn't anything special but it showed Vega can hang with top tier talent.
The six man match was good but I think its time for Riddle to start getting a big push, the guy is talented as h*ll and mostly get used as the guy to take the pins for his team.
Rollins made Omos watchable, what more needs to be said.
Cody got the win and made Brock bleed, good enough for me and now Brock has a reason to tittleblock him Monday.
Great show overall and looking forward to seeing Seth get him some gold at the next PLE.

So Iyo/Bianca was superb and I haven't been a big fan of Bianca's John Cena-esque run but Iyo is just so fantastic and made Bianca look like a million bucks. Bianca is no slouch just not my favorite in ring personality. Theory match was pretty meh, not as meh as his other matches so that was a plus. Nice to see Reed get some offense and believability. Rollins/Omos was surprisingly way better than I assumed it would be but then again anybody and Seth usually delivers as he knows how to play his part.
Top moment for me had to be Carlito showing up. Always enjoyed Carlito, especially his initial IC run. Different look, different style, brutal but simple finisher he can hit on anyone, can talk and walk, charismatic and the list goes on. Bad Bunny though was a highlight on his own. I feel it's the same with Logan Paul where you can tell which celebrities loved this growing up the same way we did and when they get this opportunity they really show out. They're willing to "go for the clip" so to speak where they visibly throw caution to the wind to give the fans a cool moment bc they know what it's like to be the fan. Some celebs show up to trade publicity for a paycheck and some show up and put the time in because they love the business. Bad Bunny is one of those people.

I only tuned in to Brock/Cody but I really enjoyed it. Loved how organic the ripping the turnbuckle pad off felt and the way Lesner was busted open. It didn’t keep me on my toes as much as Reigns/Rhodes but there were some really fun spots in that match. I’m no where near as invested in wrestling/wwe as I used to be but it feels good to still enjoy parts of it.

So many great attires last night, that Zelina has got to be an elite. As much as I love Rhea, last night would've been A great time to throw that title on Zelina.

Was a cheap win for Cody. I felt it didn't really do anything for either wrestler, if anything made Lesnar look better since he was jumped before the match.

Decent PPV. I had a feeling The Bloodline would win & Riddle the clown would take the pin. The only reason he was put in the story
It's good to see Cody beating Lesnar, but the match itself was iffy.
Judgement Day lose again...stable is pushed as a threat, but aside from Ripley, they are perennial jobbers.
2 women's title matches were pretty good.

WWE announced that this Backlash was their highest grossing Backlash event ever... no surprise tbh.
They just keep on breaking records & making big profit always!

Still recovering from my trip to San Juan this past weekend that quite literally came together at the very last minute. The MVPs of Backlash: the Puerto Rican crowd and Bad Bunny. From start to finish, I've never had such a blast in 28 years of attending wrestling events to the level that I had Saturday night; the apex of that was everyone there passionately singing Bad Bunny's "Chambea" on his way to the ring and their energy throughout the Street Fight with their ovation for Zelina during her entrance, ring introduction and after her match following that. The card delivered for them and they made their case for televised events to take place there more often in the near future. It has easily gone to my Top 5 of all events I've ever attended. First trip to my father's homeland (the person in my family who always shared the same passion for it that I have all my life) and between both shows and everything else I did in between, it is a trip I'll never forget.

Yeah the crowd was excellent. Much like Clash at The Castle? It added a lot to the PPV because of their energy
