I’m actually really disappointed with the Andre having seen more photos of it. The hands and the heads are cool and an upgrade on what we’ve had so far for most Andre’s but he’s too short, his torso is too small and posing him in his iconic side on show down with hogan is impossible because the butterfly joints look horrible, they take away realism, shoulders look terrible.
I’ve never been a big fan of the butterfly joints, people just seem to want them for the perceived added value, when I bet the majority of people never actually utilise them. I want my premium figures to be more realistic not less human like. The heads are very good but if there’s no cloth goods to cover up the butterfly joints then they look horrible.

However, I don’t think they’re required for every ultimate. If they’re not required (no chance Andre needs them) then let’s go with the realism. Saying ‘just stick to the elite line’ is bull and you know it. Elites don’t get the quality or quantity of heads, hands or soft goods. Would love to know why you desperately need the butterfly joints on Andre in particular? What would you lose if he didn’t have them? |

And I already told you why he needs them. Because it’s an Ultimate edition. The end. So he doesn’t need them, you won’t use them and just expect them for the sake of it. I’d suggest if Mattel offered ultimates with butterflies and without (like series 6 Rock) - the Ultimates without would outsell those with by a long way, they could charge more for butterfly joints. I think it would be good to give people the choice, those who really want them can pay the extra. |

The neutral face looks like the bun version from the Mysterio tribute attire, the screaming looks like a previous sculpt and the teeth gritting scans looks like the Rollins from Wrestlemania 33. I think it might of been a budget thing. |

My Andre’s belt strap looked black in the packaging but I just got around to opening him and it’s blue. I should’ve kept this one on card 🙃

So hybrid of Vladimir kozlov and William regal can get new torso with every new release but Kane and Taker are getting those malnourished torso every time. Is that Gunther guy more popular and desirable than Kane and Taker.

Got the two ultimates, the coat on Rollins is excellent. Andre is interesting, he definitely got the size and the face scans are sweet. The ab crunch seems to have been the most complicated part, also the black paint app on the singlet comes off a little too easily.
