Yep no knee pads! It pisses me off they forget details like that and the wrist tape on mankind. Whoever has the final approval needs to be fired. I don’t think it’s that they forget. I think it’s a budget thing. I’ve never seen an HBk with knee pads that have deco on them other than Ultimate Editions. The other HBK that have knee pads are just plain black or white knee pads. Defining moments have a higher budget than mainline elites. Add in the fact it's an rsc exclusive, so it should have had an even bigger budget. No excuse. Budget is not an excuse here. Bill does not like using knee pads when it's needed, and he gives knee pads when not needed. |

They ruined Shawn by not having knee pads. He didn’t have Texas logos on the knees of the tights, the tights only had the normal hearts, and they were two sets of knee pads that matched these tights, one with normal hearts and one with the Texas logos

Defining Moments Mankind has been one of my most wanted Mattel figures since the DM line relaunched (in 2014/2015). Having said that though, I've gotta say the figure looks... pretty average to poor, to be honest 😔 -  Those double-jointed elbows look awful... and what's with the "you can't see me" John Cena hands!? WTF. On the plus-side though, the new head is great... but on the whole, the figure looks very "Jakksie" (to quote MDT on YouTube). Looking at HD pictures from the match, it looks like he had a navy blue tie in the match too. Someone brought it up in the Q and A thread and it’s true. |

Nah. From shoots ppl loved working with sid. As he was close with Nash and hall I'm sure him and hbk got along too. |

He had the flu that night, and even went as far as mentioning it himself in a pre-match interview. So while there's a 99% chance this was done inadvertently, Mattel got it right here in my opinion 😂 |

Yeah my nitpick on Shawn would honestly be less about the gear and more about the moody face. It really looks like Shawn so it's still a buy for me, but for such an animated guy this figure is anything but. No one who will actually see my figure besides me will know the gear isn't 100% accurate, but the face is noticeable. I think this is more of a "happy accident," than an intention, but Shawn actually was pretty miserable prior to that match by all accounts. He's said in years since that he was sick with the flu, and this also is only about a month before he infamously "lost his smile," and vacated the title. I also think by that point Shawn was a little over the Jose Lothario pairing, but that's more me speculating. So while I still think an action figure is best when it accentuates positives and hides negatives, it is ironically kind of accurate to the moment for Shawn. |

Another two is basic 100   Granted they're all basic figures. |

They had to take out extra hearts to fit the inaccurate Texas logos on, there’s 4 hearts missing off the front I'm only seeing the hearts under the kneepads as missing. Now it can be argued that the second two on the legs are more on the front of the gear in real life while the figure has them too far on the side of the gear, but by my count there are 9 hearts besides those under the kneepads on the gear and 9 on the figure.    |

Despite the knee pads, I still really love that HBK overall. One of my all time fave attires and this is by far the best fig version we’ve gotten. I also really love that Bret attire and the fact that the jacket is so different than the others released
